Normal skin for void elves

The devs literally said they are considering it.

more of violet green

I do recall them saying they were considering giving void elf fair skin options a few months ago as well.

I think it’s silly though, they should just make high elves playable, problem solved.

This makes me very sad and slightly annoyed. We have been tainted by one of the darkest of forces. How can that not effect how we look. I like the Gothic look. If they started getting fair skin, why wouldn’t I just continue with my blood elves??

Well that’s a fair statement but you have to consider the affliction is not always as strong as you think, I mean look at Alleria if you looked at her without knowing the story I don’t think you’d know she was a void elf, and she’s definitly the strongest.

I’m not a fan of the entire void elf arc, but I feel like before they make any type changes they should solidify the reasons why and how Alleria doesn’t look anything like the other void elves.

“normal skin”

24:18, for people who say we’re lying about them saying it. This is from BlizzCon, an interview with the devs.

They said, yes, there’s a chance Void Elves will be given future customizations to fulfill the High Elf fantasy.

Even still, they’re needs to be something that differentiates us from other elves besides racial abilities and a small 5 min story line.

No argument from me there and obviously they want to meet some middle ground that avoids making an Allied Race for High Elves so I’m interested to see where this will go, I don’t know what they can do personally to make them unique.

I’ve always liked the High Elves of Warcraft 2 those little paint markings on their face but even that I don’t believe is enough.

Thank you! I knew I remembered this from somewhere.

LMAO, that is a textbook canned response and I wouldn’t take it to mean that they’ll actually do it.

Afrasiabi’s actually famous for delivering responses like this all the time.

And yet he said it about Kul Tiran Mages, and shocker, a week later, they were announced.

imo, if they do that for the void elves, then why not some san’layn options for the blood elves?

I can imagine that better than just on skin imagine like the LIGHTFORGED RUNES that float over them I’d like to see the tattoos like kind of like that dancing over the skin over moving through it

Yes please!

Well I’m pretty giving on what I’d allow on customization personally I believe undead should have the undead elf option, I believe blood elves shouldn’t have a sanl’yayn option only because Paladin class is available to them and as of today there’s no way to deny someone a class based on a certain customization.

Kul Tirans were always meant to be Mages. That was error with their Blizzcon presentation (along with listing Zandalari as locks when they can’t be), and not the same as them ‘considering’ anything.

If anything it’s kind of embarrassing that Alex didn’t know that.

Because the San’layn are extinct. The Blood Prince Alliance kill literally refers to himself as the last Blood Prince.

The Blood Princess in the Violet Hold is referred to as the last Blood Princess.

There are no more San’layn.

No. Listen to Alex’s interview. He literally tells us the other devs are AGAINST Kul Tiran mages and he is fighting for the community who want them.

It was the community pointing out that Kul Tiran mages already exist in the lore that got them to happen.

Blizzard’s “excuse” was just them trying to save face.
