Normal or bugs?

So I am presently farming in Northrend to craft mog.

Earlier I went to the Steppe of Life to farm crystalized life from Mature Lashers. And immediately died to a Mature Lasher and two Living Lasher. I am not in Chromie Time but the area plants appear to scale up anyway. I was using this character which I will admit is not the strongest but last time I was here I used my priestess who is also not exactly ‘rough and tough and hard to diaper’ either and she just spammed an area of effect spell to kill everything in each patch without incident.

And then I went to the Hall of Lightning to farm crystalized water and crystalized fire. After a couple of in and outs, I checked my bags and for every two crystalized fire, I have one crystalized water… and one mote of water, the elemental crafting mat from Outland.

Are these normal? General weirdness? Or bugs I should report?

I think there’s just a bunch of random mobs Blizz didn’t properly scale to chromie time.

I encountered a similar mob in Blade’s Edge Mountains. The Scalewing Queen strangely scales upwards regardless of chromie time.

I think you’re onto something legit. There are a few scaled mobs; fun fact the Red Ridge Tarantula scales too. Would report them for sure.

I still have PTSD from getting one shotted by archer mawsworn. Also, the crocolisks in Nazmir were OP. Some mobs are just on another level
