Noobs guide to toys

Hi I realized I was a noob today as I’ve never used toys in arenas. Someone please help me understand the art of what are the best toys to use, when to use them to make an enemy rage the most, and any special tips or tricks u got for me.

Any and all help is much appreciated

Flame eater’s vial during every kidney to add insult to injury.

Pandaria flute every vendetta to serenade your prey.

Scarabs to scare the little girls.

we can’t talk about toys here because Blizzard will remove them

then again, last time a blue clicked the arena section on accident was two years ago

i can send you a really good /spit macro if you want
that’s all you’ll ever need

Trap someone right before they are about dead, hit

Blockquote https://www.wowhead.com/item=13379/piccolo-of-the-flaming-fire
So me and my pet can dance with him until trap is done and kill them. Also I have /chicken macro’d with my flares for all the rogues

I usually reserve this for wPvPers who try to gank me. I have more respect for arena players, but sometimes you just gotta troll.

#showtooltip
/targetenemyplayer [exists, dead]
/use Warlord’s Flag of Victory
/say Stick a flag in him, he’s done.

Especially if it’s a double FotM DPS, tank comp, or otherwise annoying victory.

I summoned a pet and entered an arena. I have never used the pet mechanic at all so I didn’t know how to dismiss. Can the other guy not see my pet or was he just oblivious? We still won that match.

wouldnt the fotm players just make fun of you when u pay for achievements with $$$$$$

Anyone who pays for achievements should get laughed at.

Assuming you can still use them all in arena as of now, the correct way to assert your dominance in an arena after killing someone is as follows:

Chop them into a pile of meat with the Ginji Knives
Sacrifice the soul of the meat using the Drust Ritual Knife
Inhale the meat soul with the Soul inhaler
Plant a flag of your choice into the soulless pile of meat, preferably flag of ownership, but others will do fine.

There is no greater disrespect than this. For bonus points, if the person you are dishonoring is your friend, cook the pile of meat with the Cremation Torch.

oh i forgot when you paid a thousand dollars it “wasn’t for the achievement” it was “for the partners”

I haven’t ever bought a carry but I don’t personally see anything wrong or degrading about an amateur paying a professional money for coaching. Nobody is mad at me for placing in the top 10% of a local golf tournament after getting coached by a pro. Nobody except Blizzard loses anything by people buying carries. They only care because they view it as lost revenue and others making money off of their ip.

U did what at ur local golf tournament???

beautifully spoken

ur analogy is off

the pro is not playing with you through the entire golf tournament, telling you when and how to swing every time you take a shot. He helps you before hand and then you have to do it on ur own.

the problem with in game coaching is the only way to really do it is to play along with the person, which ultimately gets the person who payed a big boost in rating. It also makes people at lower ratings lose rating that they shouldnt have lost, because they shouldnt have been fighting two rank 1s carrying so dude

I guess that’s a fair point. I can see what you’re saying about your position on the ladder kind of being like if I was playing doubles with my coach.

In the grand scheme of things I guess I just don’t value the achievements that much to be mad that someone else had “help” getting it. Honestly if I was new and cared that much about getting good at the game and had the money to blow, that would be the quickest way to do it.

It is fair to maybe be upset if you’re close to r1 cutoff and you’re losing to people getting carried by blizzcon competitors. Other than that, I just don’t see it being that meaningful in the grand scheme of things. I can watch YouTube videos of swings all day long but I’m not going to get better without having someone who knows what they’re doing help me.

Haha I don’t know where you get this stuff man. What achieve did you think I paid thousands of dollars for? Duelist? Haha you can literally see streams of my gameplay on Twitch. tv/DarkbadgerPvP and clips from seasons pushing Duelist in Legion.

Paying for rating defeats the whole purpose of arenas. I’m sure plenty of people do it; but any serious PvPer won’t find value in rating or achieves they didn’t earn. There’s no satisfaction in meaningless numbers and titles.

dw nobody thinks you bought duelist

who would pay for 2.2 anyways?
