Noob mode N'zoth

N’zoth lost because he was greedy, wanted all the world to himself, he should have tried to revive C’thun and Yogg-Saron (Y’shaarj is probably too far gone). Since Cho’gall nearly resurrected C’thun in the comics, its likely an actual old god can revive another old god. Then we’d have a true black empire event going on!

The old gods weren’t exactly friends and frankly this felt like N’zoth was rather a push over for a freed old god, even if he was the weakest.

I haven’t done any of the latest content yet, but dont we kill him with the forge of origination? A thing that can kill all life on the planet is a potent weapon, getting killed by a focused beam from it doesnt make you look weak.

Letting yourself get in the position where it can be used against does though. Or maybe that’s more stupid than weak.

Actually N’zoth would’ve gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for us annoying adventurers and that diamond king.

However C’thun is definitely dead. The time to see if hes alive is BfA.

We know he’s dead, but he could theoretically have been brought back.

Funny enough, I think they had plans for C’thun as the Silithid were evolving. And Magni wasn’t too far from his temple.

Yeah and what damage does supposedly one of the strongest beings on the planet actually do? The Horde has done more damage this expansion than N’zoth did and frankly getting one shot by a macguffin doesn’t really make him impressive.

Meh, all the old gods went down in like a patch. Not sure why we think N’zoth would be that much different.

Old gods dont get along, by design only one should ever hit a planet. that four hit Azeroth is sort of a super unfortunate fluke. As they were not designed to work together the Old gods were constantly warring with each other for dominance. So it is not surprising N’zoth would not want to try and revive what to him was a more powerful rival/enemy.

The strong suit of N’zoth is planning/scheming and corrupting. He lays traps and lets people blunder into them, or slowly spiral into madness. The other old gods tended to go with Might Makes Right. That is why his efforts were aimed at slowly corrupting the numerous safeguards the titans had put in place rather than outright breaking them. His plan actually would of worked, as we had given him free access to the chamber of heart AGAIN. If the power of plot didnt make the PC super special and able to overcome his mental domination at the last moment to fry him he would of directly corrupted the world soul and that would of been that.

The villain got one shot by a direct hit from the death star! “Bah, how weak of him”.

Though I will admit he didn’t do much damage to the world.

I love bfas lore development as it shows “You know the old gods have the intelligence of a 4 year old”

And i hate the old gods as much as night elf fans hate making sense.

To be fair, they’ve never been portrayed as particularly intelligent. “Anzu would converse with the “gods of the abyss”, and he would find them dull, witless creatures.”
