Its 100% true. None of you like playing this game. You all just want something. You pvp to get better gear, not for fun. You raid for better gear, not for fun. You level to get higher level, not for fun. You dont actually want to play the game, you just want stuff. All of you would just press a button to get full naxx gear and rank 14 so you didnt have to play the game.
While i can agree for the most part i really do enjoy the leveling process. Making a new character and taking my time leveling, doing quests and dungeons. Thats probably the most fun part of the game for me. But for BGs i will admit that i just ranked for better gear. I didnt like to do AV at all. And i stepped away from raiding entirely
what else do you expect in this era of gaming where tons of games are pay 2 win or games that people play to see big numbers in the results or phone games where people just play to see fancy lights attack animations.
the new generation now doesn’t even know how to play a game, they are just doing what someone else is telling them to do and they only think that obtaining rewards is the reason to play the game.
you are right the game community has devolved and changed dramatically. the new generation is very cynical and perverse. Gamers have always been alpha and very egocentric but the new generation is described as…well there really isnt a word to describe it. extreme ego, entitled and Narcissistic
Dont particularly find leveling fun, but enjoyed the milestones and hitting max.
Didnt particularly find the pvp grind the best, but enjoyed hitting grand marshal, killing horde the whole time, nice to have the guilds highest hk count.
Sometimes dont enjoy raiding, flash of light spam on farm content is a little boring, but enjoying performing better and gaining the gear pieces. Not to mention those i raid with, pve and pvp.
There is no game where you enjoy 100% of it. Seems like you like part of the journey too, we just like different parts.
