Non-timer based repeatable endgame content

By the end of the week there’s really nothing left for me to do but m+ and it’s become apparent to me that m+ is kind of the opposite of everything I like about this game.

Delves have been tapped out for me pretty much since week one.

Raid lockouts last all week.

I need more to do to justify having a sub.

There used to be enough content in this game to keep me busy and I have even less time to play than I did back in the day.

you could level to 80

Non-timer based end game is Delves. If you’re burnt out, then you’re burnt out. We have multiple end game pillars. There’s nothing left.

Delves don’t scale, why can’t we have something that scales like m+ without a timer?

There’s Tazavesh Hard mode.
No timer and takes a while to clear and even if there’s a death the Bosses drop Hero Track.

You can also do any level of M+ with no timer by ignoring that aspect. You still get a chest at the end and you still get a Vault slot.

And there’s always Alts.

Just ignore the timer in m+

Yea, I can but getting 4 randos to ignore the timer is a tall order.

People have made it abundantly clear m+ is not for me and I’m fine with staying out of it if I had something to do.

“Just ignore the thing everyone cares about in the content and enjoy having them cheesed off at you, problem solved!”

you’re a paying customer and you’re not being served to your satisfaction, yours is a fully acceptable response.

Vote with your wallet, it’s the only thing Bliz listens to.

That probably where this is going to end up, I’m just surprised I’m the only one that feels this way I guess.

Maybe I was too slow to leave

Don’t so it with randos maybe? Based on the forums there are a lot of players in your boat.

If you don’t like Alts the only other option is doing Tazavesh each week or quitting as you implied.

it bothers me immensely that the sunk-cost people always jump to defend bad design far more than anyone else, but you are not alone.

So like weekly stuff and then log off, or m+ that’s the game now.

World of m+

That’s always been the game bro. I don’t know what version you were playing?

Before M+ you had weekly Raids and you filled your time with Alts or doing daily Heroics for Badges. Heroics didn’t scale and you did one a day.

And now we have more end game options than we have ever had before, which makes the complaint even more silly

And that’s an argument against what I’m asking for?

Like do you take issue with me asking for something to do in the game after my weekly lockouts are gone that doesn’t involve a timer and scales in difficulty?

Is that a problem?

I think that’s a valid point.

Adding another feature on top of what we already have (PvP, Mythic+, Raids, Delves) could end up splitting an already relatively small player base even further. Still, I’d like to see the open world feel more challenging. Rares, World Quests, and regular quests providing a real challenge again, with corresponding rewards.

Hopefully, the Diablo inspired open world design in Legion R. turns out well, and we eventually see it carried over into the Retail’s open world.

I don’t think this would split the player base off of anything except for m+ tbh.

I’d still do my raid lockouts and delves like I do if I had this.

M+ and pvp are the only end game pillars that collect any sizable player base that exclusively does one thing.

But that’s ok, I’m stupid for asking for something I want. I’m an idiot for not enjoying m+ and suggesting any changes to it is outrageous.

It’s m+ or uninstall in world of key craft. Message received.

There is so much to do actually, and there is not much difference between now and the past.

It’s not an argument just facts.

We’ve never had repeatable, scaling content with no timer so you’ve had this issue for as long as you’ve been playing WOW but you’re still here.

Delves are the new Heroic Dungeons of the TBC and up era. No timer and after a point you just do them to get currency to get better gear.
