Apart from hashing out the Hero Talents better, what do WW players want to see moving forward into War Within?
My wishlist of stuff to fix is,
Greatly reducing the RNG there is in WW. I don’t like fishing for DoCJ procs. I don’t like that XBG got nerfed 2 or 3 times into the state that it is now. I don’t like getting badlucked on not getting FLS resets. I don’t like “lucky” RSK resets when I don’t plan for it causing over efficiency. There are several very easy fixes for this.
Making FLS more palatable. I despise the ability, as it’s just bloat with a fresh coat of paint. Whether by straight up deleting it and bringing back RSK damage debuff or just improving FLS by either making the debuff last longer, or having flat CDR based on abilities used on the Faeline, or taking it off the GCD, or changing the shape of the pattern that comes out, efforts should be made to make FLS more of an addition instead of a chore.
Rework Skyreach. Delete the crit and put the damage back into our base abilities. Turn it into pure chase/mobility or turn it into something else.
Make a better way of using up Thunderfist.
Cutting down on the amount of bloat that exists on the class tree and spec tree. There is a lot of it.
Finally deleting BDB. I’m genuinely surprised but also very not surprised that BDB is still around. People broke mastery for it back in SL. The last time we did that, the associated ability was deleted/reworked in a week. Yet it somehow made it to our spec tree of all places, which is unsurprising because I can see it being there on the grounds of dev laziness.
Improvements for Serenity. They keep nerfing Serenity. Why?
Supposedly we’re due for a look at our talent trees. I mean after two or three touch ups of the MW, we’re due for some attention right?

I don’t have huge issues with BDB but I really liked Weapons of Order on WW monk. Not sure if there are others who agree with me but I would really like to see WoO given back to WW and maybe this would be a good place to put it.
Oh, and I also despise Faeline Stomp.

Remove of Rework ToD, is mostly useless on raid scenarios, AMAZING on low lvl m+, and SUPER TRASH on high m+, having to spend 5~6 point talents on an ability that is for the most part useless is super annoying
make usefull abilities like our drs more accesible, and not being locked behind useless talents, make it more like mage’s they get usefull stuff and can pick anything they want/need without lossing important stuff
Statuess, jsut remove them, i dont even use it on m+ tiger statue is so useless, they only reason i would take any sstatue is because i use them to bait juggernauts on atal’dazar, there no other way i can take them, it barelly does any dmg and you need to move so much that there no way is usefull in any way
give us a talent to extend our range, i dont understand why we have so many abilities with extra range but not all of them, meanwhile ret pally and rogues can have more range than dractyrs, and we get so punished when we move out of melee, becasue we dont get any resets on stomp, which btw i would like it to be removed
why do we have 2 different talents to add 1 extra roll to our roll charges, who needs 3 ? make it 2 by default or idk do somtehing that’s just lazy imo
give us a cheat-death-like effect, and this might not be specially for ww, but i think Brew deserves it, every tank has a cheat deaht-like effect, why monks can have one

Remove and replace some of the less fun talents, like brew.
Make serenity cdr slash the cd to around 1 min when used correctly so you use it once with and once without xuen, basically full burst and mini burst.
Remove the damage increase from serenity, but Fists of fury channel is not interrupted when you use another ability, like spinning crane kick.
Bring back the antorus tier set, put it in place of skyreach/skytouch, increase the proc chance of blackout kick proc.
Jadefire stomp should be replaced with aberrus like modification to rsk, shadowflame nova on rsk with the following talent converting your sck damage to shadowflame at all times.
Jadefire stomp Bonedust brew and Weapons of order should replace statues in the general tree.
Bonedust Brew can then be replaced with, not sure with what but maybe as mentioned just above, the ability to cast BoK Tiger Palm and RjW during FoF? The follow up talent could then be energizing brew or your tiger palm now strikes up to 3 targets when cast during fof (generating chi based on each individual target)
Flying guillotine replaced with spinning crane kick costs 1 more chi and proportionately deals the same increase in damage.

Make any type of summon entirely optional and give proper non summoning competing options.
SEF and Serenity now work this way, but give something else to compete with summon Xuen, and give non summoning options for BrM and Mistweavers too.
I know balance is not perfect, but it should be at least a choice between optimal and not so optimal and not a choice between working and not working.

I’ll be happy with the deletion of FLS and a fix to WW scaling alone. I’m really surprised people aren’t bringing up the scaling issue much. It’s not fun to not see much of a damage increase until mid season bandaid buffs. It’s been happening since Legion if not earlier. We start out decent at the beginning of a season and fall off the cliff once people have some gear because the scaling is so poor for WW.

It gets mentioned fairly often. That said, it’s pretty obvious at this point that Blizzard either doesn’t care about the issue or can’t figure out how to fix it.
I have brought up scaling in nearly every article I’ve ever written for WowHead and Peak as long as it’s even tangentially relevant.
It has gotten brought up at just about every opportunity by just about everyone for just about 10 years. At this point it’s not about bringing it to their attention…

At least the WW talents should have a choice node where people can pick Jadefire stomp or Weapons of Order either. Then Blizzard will see what WW monk players will pick up…

If Blizzard allowed that as a choice node they would make sure weapons of order was garbage so people would be forced into stomp. They always do this with abilities. If its fun its purposely tuned badly with the frustrating abilities being meta under the guise of skill.
