Bump for awareness. It is very disappointing to race change to play a dragon to find this is a problem. Please fix for patch 11.0.7

Yeah this is kind of a usability issue, no error voice lines is very frustrating. As others mentioned, it’s something you don’t miss until it’s gone. Please fix this ASAP.

Seeing this is still a problem on the PTR for the next patch is so frustrating, lol. Would love any sort of word from Blizzard that they at least know this bug exists. Anyone? Pleeeease?

It appears that voice emotes are working on the ptr now for my race changed dracthyr. Hopefully this will get hotfixed in to live soon!

Well, they fixed one thing. None of the combat hit sounds or combat error speech were fixed, warrior combat shouts and hit reaction sounds are still the male version, and one of the charge voice overs still plays the pandaren voiceover on top of the male dracthyr voice over.

female dracthyr warrior:
from what i have noticed.

1: charge sound effect is female pandaren warrior charge sound
2: getting hit by an enemy makes a male dracthyr sound effect
3: no voice lines when /silly
4: no laugh sound when /lol
sounds are bugged, wrong, and wonky.
alot of sounds either do not play at all, or are just the wrong species

Yep, still an issue.

No situational callouts, no lines for emotes. Only sounds that play are on death and only the masculine ones.

UPDATE:
Just an update, this bug appears to be mostly fixed as of the siren isles release. Evokers now have this exact issue!

  • For non-evokers, voice emotes work. For evokers, voice emotes no longer work.
  • Prot warrior’s charge voiceline no longer uses the pandaren voice, it correctly uses the dracthyr voiceline.

However on prot warrior, some weapon attacks still play an empty “swoosh” sound instead of an impact like they should.

This most definitely has not been fixed as of Siren Isle.

I just created a female dracthyr hunter and have gotten male sounds playing in dragon form when attacking, using Kill Command or getting hit, /silly and /woah is completely mute in dragon form as well and of course, no callouts. No “i need to get closer”, no nothing.

Oh and Feign Death / Dying also plays the male sound.

Then you’re likely using an addon to suppress those emotes noises, as they still play fine for more (noting that evoker emotes are the ones that are now absent). The rest of what you posted was never fixed.
