Are you talking tattoos like the Nightborne have? I know the BE on the cover has it on his face but I don’t remember any other BE’s having it in-game. I don’t think they were sold like that because I never remember them advertising BE tattoos. Of course Blizz could come around and give all races more customization and the tattoos you want could be part of that.

Also, that BE on the cover reminds me of Prince Kael’thas Sunstrider so it would probably be unique to him only though I don’t remember seeing it on his face in-game.

If it’s on the box cover it’s being advertised like that.

If you saw a can of soda with a purple liquid drawn in it, you would expect it to look like purple liquid, right?

Just like that, if you see a tattooed Blood Elf on the box of the game with Blood Elves, you would expect it to contain tattooed Blood Elves.

Some people have tattoos in-game, but the code handles them like shirts and they aren’t available for players.

The Blood Elf DK Koltira Deathweaver has tattoos.

Kael’thas doesn’t have any tattoos, sadly.

I get what you’re saying unfortunately it has been over 12 years since TBC came out and if they haven’t included it since then I don’t think they will now. Of course you could use the in-game suggestion button and suggest it. Or hope this thread gets some love and Blizz notices it.

Good luck either way. There have been other races asking for customization far longer then BE tattoos and they haven’t received it.

They also advertised new dances in WotLK. Also thats Kal"thas he has a lot of stuff other BElfs don’t have.

Theres no reason why Blood Elves wouldnt have ranger tattoos/paint, magister arcane tattoos ala nightborne, etc.

Its just a limitation of Blizzard’s storytelling

Void Elves should get Void Infused High Elven tattoos and Blood Elves should get Red High Elven tattoos.

(Highmountain tauren have war paint that paints the fur, not tattoos).

Dance studio was on the box (?) and definitely in the video released for WotLK.

I was excited for that.
