Exactly, era doomers are everywhere currently cause they made it retail UI with some QoL features, if you want just OG vanilla you have era to go to. From everyone ive spoken with, they seem to be enjoying Forever.

Let’s differentiate between folks that want Era unchanged and those that are attempting to play Forever because they wanted changes to Era. Those groups have some overlap but the second mocks the first just as hard as anyone else. It’s unfortunate as well as unnecessary but humans gonna tribal.

First, you are wrong they added the retail UI to Era also.
“Forever” is not “Classic” its a new game, so changes are not really a thing in a new game because its a new game, not a re-release of an old one.
Second, you are in the Era forums and Forever has its own forum that is not under the “Classic” banner meaning its fully its own new product there to possibly replace Retail.
As for the people annoyed with “Forever” and its features, both the retail chuds and the classic chuds all want their own favorite version copy / pasted into what they think Forever should be.
As for me, I will just wait and see and let the Devs (they dont have game designers kek) figure out what they think will work.
Problem being they dont have designers so the product is likely to suck because blizzard cant seem to control itself and power creep is a big problem in everything they have made since AQ40.
If the game is good ill enjoy it, if its bad ill not play it, but all the apes thinking this is C+ are delusional, and all the retail dinguses thinking this is also for them are as delusional.
Forever is built for a new audience, a replacement audience. Blizzard does not want you or me, they dont care about us, they want to replace us with new pay pigs.

Marketing WoWF as “Vanilla” or “Classic” anything is gaslighting. Or it’s blue-pill ignorance. Don’t get me wrong, though; I hope the folks who play it feel that they get their money’s worth. But let’s call it what it is: a different WoW game.

fixed it for you. Blizzard literally called it classic+, so whether you see it as an authentic iteration of classic wow or not- thats what it is.
now THIS is delusion. blizzard isn’t getting rid of their cash cow in any foreseeable future.
it doesn’t matter what your opinion is the devs called it classic+. so we are going to hold them accountable to that

can you address the fact that the devs called it classic+ during all the presentations please or is it your position that the name “WoW Forever” means they did a complete 180 in design direction, even though they chose this name before doing the presentations (i.e. that makes no sense)?
