Then I thank you for your support in not wanting to change raids by retuning them and not wanting to change the honor system by removing DHK’s

/evilgrin

I completely forgot about DHKs…

Not having DHK’s would still be in keeping with vanilla and would not constitute a change.

Just like having and unnerfed seal of the crusader and unnerfed hurricane also falls within the timeline of vanilla and not constitute change

other than blizzards Diremaul release idea…

If the “unnerfed seal of the crusader” or the “unnerfed hurricane” to which you refer ever existed between the release version of WoW and patch 2.0, then you would be correct.

If, however, you are referring to something that was part of the Beta, but never made it into the release version of WoW or something that was added in patch 2.0 or beyond, then you would not be correct.

Seal of crusader was nerfed in early vanilla, patch 1.2.2, dramatically reducing ret DPS.

Hurricane was nerfed 1.2 changing it from cast and forget to channeled.

Undoing both nerfs stay within the sacrosanct vanilla timeline and would go a long way towards making two underperforming specs raid viable.

But since we both know that’s not the real reason the “purists” want to force hybrids into healbot only status let’s go ahead and here whatever lame excuse why this is an exception…

I can only speak for myself, but I would have no problem if Blizzard chose to implement the pre-nerf versions of hurricane or seal of the crusader.

Agreed. The “purist” are like whats going on with the right these days. They want to keep under performing roles as such, so they can relive their glory days, while folks who played the hell out of ret, enhance, elemental, moonkin, shadow, feral type specs, would love to have an endgame role, playing the class fantasy they like, without having to become a heal bot/buff bot.

If you want to control what other people post, make your own blog.

This isn’t an election; we’re not voting on anything at all. The decision will always be Blizzard’s.

we shouldn’t control what people post. but those people should also follow the forum rules and guidelines.
why should people who can’t even have the decency to do that, deserve to be treated with decency?

I never said ‘free speech’. This isn’t a political matter and, as you said, has no bearing here.

I’m talking about the right to speak my opinion, which Blizzard does allow, as long as its not in violation of TOE. This thing wants to take that away from those who don’t agree with him by telling them to go away.

and those who want changes have never told those who don’t want changes to stay out of there threads have they…

Is the OP not allowed to speak his opinion?

yes, of course. However, telling people to go away isn’t expressing an opinion. Its telling people to go away.

and i feel the same way about them as well.
