That’s phone game territory, I think RAID: Shadow Legends is the kind of “raid” you’re looking for, there.

Ok then, I’d point out that you still have those 1 boss raids and have had them since Pandaria; we call them world bosses.
I don’t wish for larger raids to disappear. But I do wish we had another Throne of the Four Winds and Terrace set of raids. Idk I feel like Blizz could handle releasing a 4 boss raid with minimal trash along side a 10 boss raid, and just offset the 4 boss raid having a mythic difficulty to help deal with the tuning.
It takes about as much time/effort as any other beer league hobby/sport.
Do you think people who are in golf and softball and bowling leagues can’t have all those?

I’d highly suggest you go watch a video of someone picking up WoW for the first time and then start thinking about everything you have to do to get to the top of raiding or PvP. The addons, the plugins to th eaddons, the Weak Auras, getting ratings so you get invited into groups, doing sufficient content to farm the gear you need and so on.
Blizzrad has conssistently chosen to cater to the top 0.1% here at the expense of the vast majority of players and certainly any new players.
Mythic raiding participation is so low it shouldn’t even be on Blizzard’s radar. Any other featrure with this little participation would’ve been scrapped long ago.
LFR exists, and mythic plus is made easier every season.
And story difficulty yet to come.
Please don’t confuse playing at the top 0.1% with content only exists for the top 0.1%
You design around the best players of the game. You don’t balance around little Jimmy in accounting that can’t do his basic BM hunter rotation.
If you honestly think that the top players are catered too you’re absolutely don’t have a clue about this game.
Mythic raiding participation is low but it’s not that low.
I can’t hit challenger in League of Legends. Time to complain to Riot.

I can honestly say I have never played league
Make the raid as long as you want. Just split it up into different lockouts. Basically a progression locked LFR type system. Then you just need to hang on for a wing rather than the whole thing, and can leave and come back later or stick with the group and move on.
There is an ocean sized gap between HoF level guilds and late tier CE guilds, or even mythic guilds that end 1-2 bosses short.
