It actually has a specific definition but… most folks don’t know what it actually means. On these forums, this is basically how folks use the term but basically if it has “Disney” in it and it isn’t a deep conversation about capitalism, sociology, and psychology … it is basically always a dog whistle.
But the phrase is, per Wikipedia, from 1959. But it’s recent popularity stem from 2023 when Disney ran circles around politicians trying to shut 'em down, and terminally online people got upset at Disney for doing just that.
The sociological definition of the word is way more interesting though, just saying!
