Just got mine⊠Never got anything good off my first kill per day. Ran this in total maybe 20x since I have a lot of alts. Can confirm, it was like my 8th or 9th attempt today and i got it. and before today i only maybe killed the duck like 10x since start of event

not sure if i got all the clothes or not, i guess iâll have to go check how many items there are.
(i think itâs fair to assume i got them all with the amount of kills)
âŠand now iâm going to walk away from the game for a bit, and get busy on a diamond painting, while blizzard considers the error of their ways.
once most people have the mount, people are going to start egg-griefing, grabbing it and dragging it away from all the afkers who are waiting for someone to bring it to them.
or leashing⊠already had one group earlier where boss got kited a long way from spawn point, but itâs fair to assume he does have a leash.
whether or not he resets or despawns⊠i guess weâll find out shortly.

If Blizzard is going to keep adding these 1% drops to holiday events despite the overwhelming negative feedback it gets about them, can they please put a sticky note for next time?

Having to hotfix this with so many events over and over is just baffling and does not reflect well on Blizzardâs quality at all.

People are asking for it to be on a vendor, which is (by definition) 100%.
I got it yesterday on my second ever boss kill (I skipped the first day and now I probably wonât go back at all). Iâve been playing the game since Vanilla and Iâve never once actively tried to get these holiday mounts. This is probably one of the only ones I have as I refuse to play the alt slot machine for these FOMO events. I made the conscious decision years ago to not engage with anything in this game that I feel doesnât respect player time and my experience has been much better for it.

I got mine yesterday. Most seem to not care for the mount but Iâm actually really happy. I never got the one in Legion or a non tailor carpet. I like it honestly!
Resets, at least thatâs what was happening (multiple times) yesterday.
Still say it was a poor choice to allow players to have a hand in the eggâs direction/travel to the nest.

It took me over 1400 attempts to get gilded wader so yeah, that was probably lucky.
I gave up and bought that eventually after like a thousand attempts lol.
I bought all the pets I was missing during shadowlands. I would farm hard to get pets like the larion from the kyrian level 3 divine bell things, then either sell them for gold (sold rather fast) or directly trade them for the rarer pets I still needed.

That said Blizz you can keep the dumb carpet. And the rocket. And the headless horseman mount. Iâm done with this rng holiday BS. Things were just fine before everything had to be about ârun all your alts through the boss every single day!â Thatâs not even remotely fun, challenging, or anything else but a waste of time you use to pad your numbers.
You used to be the gold standard of game development. Now you just smell like EA.
