Someone can feel free to share this on wowhead too, but I just got the carpet mount again despite having already learned it on another character (both drops on day two, non first kills). Still no dress because then the grind would be over of course. Sure wish I could at least trade or sell the mount, but it’s intentionally given as a quest reward to prevent that. What even is this game?

Eh? It comes from the basket turn in. How is it possible to loot a basket turn in you can only get once a day?

I’ve somehow hit ultra RNG and traded the mount 4 times now for 500k gold each time.
I have 17x level 70s tho
First quest turn on the account for the day. So like how the love rocket is boosted up to 1% up from .01% for the first account kill of the day.

I’m talking about the carpet mount, not the strider. The carpet is bind on pickup and not even eligible for shared tag loot because it’s rewarded from a quest turn in and not the boss itself.

You can do the quest multiple times per day by using alts. There are two different mounts. One, the carpet mount, drops as a result of a quest turn in cache from the item the world boss drops. That one is soulbound. The other is a purple strider mount you can receive in either an egg on the ground or by buying from a vendor for 500 chocolate if unlucky. That mount is bind in equip so can be sold/traded/auction housed.

I know, I have one in my bag now too just sitting there.
And it’s supposed to be low, and I didn’t see any news on increased drop rate. The weird thing is that the dress seems to have an unusually low drop rate too.
Part of it could be how my luck in this game is with mounts and chase items/legendaries. Some bosses I have to kill 75 times for a 5% drop rate (hearthstone) or just never see, others like this and the hallows-end mount (I’ve seen/gotten at least 3, although it’s been years since it dropped so wonder if the drop rate was lowered because people never mentioned considering it rare back then) I’ll keep getting, sad that I can’t at least help someone else out.
Just got it on the second character of the day today. I don’t think it is anywhere near love rocket rare from what I’m hearing.

Man. You people getting multiple mounts. Meanwhile there’s me who only just now managed to get a couple mogs. The first day all I was getting was eggs across all my level 70’s.
Same. I just got it on this guy after running my pally first.
Must be lucky I guess.
I literally haven’t even looked at what the easter event entails this year. I should hurry. I normally have good luck with mounts. If i was at home I’d share my screenshot of when my second Invincible dropped!

i really wish they stopped these alt spam for events. i don’t have 63 alts like i have 3 max characters and i only really play 1-2 mostly my pal. let ppl spam on whatever its low rng anyway
Yes, you were lucky. That’s how randomly based things like this work. I got the Headless Horseman mount the second time I did the instance. Took me many hundreds of kills to get the Solar Spirehawk.
the mount can drop from any egg you pick up. i watched a guildmate open an egg and it popped up as loot
just like other mogs from the vendor.
