Frosstfire automatically wins the debate because he got 10,000 posts. World buffs are going away.
Chucknorris has spoken.
took me a while to catch up but seeing frostfire is on pagle the math is mathing
No world buffs in raids is objectively the only way to balance classic raiding
But I’m still playing if they’re allowed
Look at this failure.
This is the guy who tries to act like he’s smart.
to be honest if they removed world buffs and also made the raids harder aswel you might be on to something…
But they existed, people used them and could be used in raids.
#no changes
Don’t like world buffs? Don’t use them. Ens of story end of argument.
The designer said it was a mistake and they removed them from TBC because of this.
Why do you think you can’t use world buffs in TBC raids?
Clearly this change needs to be made on Vanilla as well since it’s the best way. TBC is clearly forward thinking on this issue.
I mean aren’t most of you playing just to get to TBC? Yet you are fine with world buffs being banned from raids in TBC?
Seems hypocritical.
Ban world buffs from raids in Classic FRESH like the original big brained devs wanted.
SoM died because it was released at the literal pinnacle of TBC. I’d bet money if SoM released again it would be widely accepted.
It died because they RUINED the raids.
It had nothing to do with world buffs being gone.
Blizzard decided to screw with all the raid mechanics. SoM was basically SoD without WOTLK spells.
Guilds did not stack them. Guilds stacking them drastically changes the experience of the raids. Individuals here and there does not.
The world buff meta is a radical change to the original experience. #nochanges would purge world buffs in raids to mirror the original experience.
This is the same logical fallacy retail players use with respect to RDF. You can choose not to as an individual, but when any given guild has most members stacking them, the experience of the raid is watered down, and this is inescapable.
Warriors would still out-damage everyone else (you can sim it yourself). Meanwhile, because of the total dps loss of the raid, mana users in guilds that aren’t killing bosses super quick would find themselves going oom more often, meme specs that are prone to going oom would be even less viable than they are now, and more gold would need to be spent on consumes to cover the longer fights/ greater mana demands.
Im not crying or arguing with you. You cant handle people not caring about your opinion clearly.
