I was thinking that it might be a great idea if new servers only allow you to have only 1 world buff at the time.
That way, the concept of worldbuffs will still be a thing across the entire community (and servers will organize drops as it always had been), but at the same time you will have to choose which wbuff suits your toon better for your spec/gear instead of creating a huge demand for all players to run across the entire game collecting wbuffs for an hour before raiding times (which also saves a lot of time).
So, if you’re only allowed to have 1 wbuff, not only makes your choosing more valuable depending on your current spec/gear, but also saves each player a lot of time and erases this demand of having to collect 6+ wbuffs before raiding times.

I like this idea and think it would be an improvement over the current meta. However, I’d just like to see all world buffs disabled inside raids, period.

great suggestion imo. I’m a heavy #nochanges sort but this seems like a reasonable accommodation to those sick of guilds forcing raid logging or raid buff jail. A technical issue is how to keep from getting Ony buff when in the main city if you want to keep your other buff instead (song flower or DM or w/e) maybe the chronostasis thing lets you toggle through the one you want to have on you? Or a “Your friend is starting X quest would you like to accept this quest as well” sort of pop up for when a buff hits you. Working with the community for solutions is good. Just don’t change the game too much. light touch please
