The quests is just to rescue Teldrassil NPCs in the Maw, once you do them more Night Elves appear in the zone. Although I wish we could rescue some Gilnean souls considering Elves weren’t the only casualties…
It is weird she gives you one immediately after the other tho.

It’s two different quests with the same goal. If you don’t want to do them, then don’t do them. 
Some Horde I know do it because they never wanted to commit genocide in the first place. So it’s their way of saying, “Yeah… my bad. No one should suffer down here.” If you don’t feel that way, that’s fine. No one is forcing you to do those quests.
No one is being a bully. 
Choosing to help souls and loa within a realm of slumber and rebirth doesn’t mean someone has to care about the Nelf souls. Most likely, a decent majority will. If not because of the Nelfs, they’re simply respectful of Ysera and mindful of the tortures innocent souls are going through. But not everyone is the same.

The only reason to do the quest is so you can get more souls from the maw each week. Nobody does it because they care about nelfs getting roasted by Sylvanas.

The horde now rejects sylvana’s actions. Even if you were a sylvana’s loyalist you would be expected to not act like it while on the night fae.
Because you are the Maw Walker not Ysera.
Consider it recompense for thy sins.
Or hast thy misbegotten off-shoot of the Wandering Isle strain of Pandaren so degraded as to forget the very basic notion of crime and punishment? Little would it surprise me considering the troglodytic company thou keep.
