All of my SL recipes are grayed out, so I can’t increase my skill anymore. I’m at cooking skill level 55. When I visit the cooking trainer in Oribos, there are no new recipes available to me; they all say I’m not high enough cooking level to learn them. My toon is level 60. Didn’t run into this problem on my main toon.
What am I missing, here? Do I need to increase my skill from previous expansions?
Thanks but this doesn’t really help me. I know what I need to do, but the game won’t let me do it. My current recipes for SL are grayed out, so I can’t increase my skill. The Oribos vendor will not sell me any of the new recipes I need to increase my skill.
While at the trainer check the filter to see if Available is checked.

Open your cooking tab, and look at “Unlearned”-- There, under Shawdowlands, you should be looking for any recipe that is Green or Yellow, that can give you a skill up.
Click on it, it should tell you where to obtain the recipe. Not all of them will come from the trainer.
Some may come from quest, or vendor, or may require rep to purchase.

Never mind. Thanks everyone! Recipes showed up for me to buy after I left Oribos then came back later. Appears to have been a glitch of some kind because it wouldn’t let me buy them before–it had them marked as recipes that were unavailable to me. Pretty annoying!
