No, Void Elves should not have Blood Elf hair tones/options

Also, secret truths? And people tried to say we were some sort of shadowy organization

They lost the immersion that you feel when you choose to play a race, and know what their culture is and that feeling of where their place in the world is. It’s part of the main theme.

I was not talking about the new ones. I was talking about the ones we already have now.

I’m glad. These would be great to see!

That’s the thing though most of the Allaince High Elves are the Void Elves now. That’s why the High Elves Wayfarers are there. It’s supposed to be the next step in their lore. That’s also why we have the new customizations to further reinforce that.

I did not want this either, but it’s where we are.

I was talking about the ones on our side who do. Not all antis are bad, and not everyone who disagrees with us is an anti. We must be carful that this does not become a word that’s only meaning is to silence the opinions of others.

We have seen exactly 0 of these interactions happening. Void Elves are described as former BElves in our every interaction, and while “There are High Elves here so many they also” is certainly a theory people have put forth, we haven’t seen it done and if the VElf event was a one-off thing or something that can be replicated

Evidence in the rift suggests otherwise.

Void Elves are being trained in the Wayfarers and Scholars there. New Void Elves are learning from a master on the second island. There is plenty of reason to believe that.

But then again, I’ve come to find that many of you seem to require blizzard to say it directly and exactly before anyone of you see it. lol

Not to mention the High Elf NPCs in Telogrus Rift have glowing particle effect eyes instead of normal High Elf eyes, implying some sort of magical transformation is taking place.

They already did go that route. They gave void elf players enough options to rp high elves. Done.

Honestly I think thats a glitch sort of deal. But eh.

No we are missing blonde white red black hair colors. It’s a half compromise.

It’s not really a compromise, considering Blood Elves would be getting nothing in return.

Oh the abuse that poor poor word has taken in these threads

Just void elf eyes. What did we get? Another compromise.

So you’d like all of our skin tones and hair colors so we can have two of your eye colors? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

You will have to clarify because I dont understand how HE on alliance take away the immersion of being a BE who was hit by the scourge, lost their sunwell, were led by kaelthas, utilized the fel, learned to mana tap creatures, enslaved a Nauru to gain access to the light, and joined the horde to try and get back to their leader and so on. A very good chunk of that was specific to them since high elves were off doing high elf things at the same time (different quests involving them).

If immersion is gone because of peach skin and blonde hair well… like 3 alliance races already had the market on that. If it’s the model well… VE already ripped that off and that was blizz, not players.

In fact, it actually muddies BE to give them something like blue eyes or purple eyes or gold since a new player making a character might not even get why they had green fel eyes.

So please try to clarify if you are able.

And VE still dont have golden or green eyes even though some of them were once BE. That’s their special thing to tie in their themes so it wouldn’t make sense for VE to have them, but brown hair and peach skin is not a Theme.

Where is the official word on this? So far all I have seen is unconfirmed player guesses. Still, I bet there are HE still around that aren’t in the rift and if we are supposed to still be playing VE then I guess we need to go back to requesting HE as their own AR.

So is this a way for players to play their HE or is it a way to mess with VE?

I guess I should clarify on what an anti is to me. An anti is a spiteful person who sits around saying no all day for the sake of having something to argue about. They go out of their way to repeatedly say no and troll someone for their request because they dont like it.

Example: I dont think Kelfin should be an allied race, but customization for goblins instead. I explained my thoughts respectfully I think and then left it at that. I disagree, but I’m not an anti. I dont need to sit around insulting players and hating on them because they want a Kelfin AR, derailing a thread, arguing purely to argue, and plain trolling.

See what it devolved into immediately after I posted this?

I think they’ve discovered our secret plan to keep the secret truths from being exposed! :scream_cat:

Are you not happy that Blood Elves have more eye color options now?

Don’t forget past comments on the skin tone diversity they’ve made. It’s rather confusing to me. Seems unhappiness is rife with BE options

Well the Alliance has the hairstyles. But I don’t think there’s anything wrong with sharing them with Blood Elves. I also don’t think it’s necessary to copy the Blood Elf hairstyles or colors to Void Elves when they could get colors and styles from other Alliance Races or even brand new assets, though I think Blizzard will err on the side of taking as many shortcuts as they think they can get away with.

I’ll be content with jet black, stark white, and a rich brown hair color, and a toggle for the hair tentacles that adds them to styles without them, and removes them from styles with them so that people can customize as they choose. Some shade of blonde (not necessarily one of the shades Blood Elves have) would be nice but isn’t a hill I’m willing to die on. My ideal wish is to get the Kul Tiran hair colors and some Human hairstyles shared with Void Elves as mentioned earlier in the thread.

-Disclaimer- I do not think Void Elves should get these things right now . I think all the core races (such as Blood Elves who I feel got shafted), should first be at an acceptable level of customization options before allied races get their pass. I also have no problem with Void Elves being the last allied race to get their pass since they got their skins early.

I probably missed what you’re referring to. But I’ve just noticed a few unkind comments some people have made in reference to people wanting blue eyes for Blood Elves.
