i agree that it’s time to open up SoM to era transfers. SoM is just dead… it’s dead. there is no denying it 
. open up the transfers and announce SoM 2.

I play Classic Era today not because I’m waiting for “WoW Remix Vol. 1” SoM version of the game. I still play Classic Era because (IMO) it’s the best version of WoW - just as it is.
I don’t hear many people in WoW Classic Discords crying out for another Season of
Mastery.
No one is holding off from leveling new characters until a new SoM is announced.
What I hear is a lot of players begging for SoM to be over.
Please allow our characters to join the active communities on Classic Era - where everyone else is these days who loves Classic WoW. (Or, alternatively go to WotLK realms).
Blizzard, please take note! Yes! There continue to be many, many paying customers (like myself who has played since 2005) who just want to be with other players - on Classic Era. That’s it!
Support the Classic Era community by allowing people to remain together in Classic Era and end SoM soon.
And I’m still playing Era because I want to be in WoW (Vanilla) Classic community TOGETHER with others who love Vanilla.
I know there are players who want Classic+. But many people are still paying Classic Era and not demanding Classic+ or SoM in order to keep paying for WoW, like myself.
Classic WoW keeps people playing - simply by design - Vanilla WoW is THAT good.
Personally speaking, I hope the first SoM experiment demonstrated the fact that many players want to be together in a WoW Classic community more than another Diablo-esque, temporary season variant of “Remix Vol. 2” of WoW.
Allow players the choice to be together playing Classic Era WoW together and this community will live for many more years to come - yes, simply because it’s Classic WoW.
And in the future, please avoid penalizing Era players who unfortunately logged on after a break, only to find their level 60s locked out of Era. The clone service cost extra money to stay in Era and was suddenly discontinued - without as much as an email notification. That really hurt Classic Era communities.
SoM fragmented the community, IMO.
If there is another SoM, give players the CHOICE - to be in Era…or in Classic Wrath…or in Cata Classic…or wherever we wish to be with our community.

As a long time player of WoW, I must say I am very disappointed that the SOM information has not been timely and upfront. If programmers are having issues, then say so. If management is stalling, then say so. If they are waiting for the new retail expansion to go live , then say so. As time goes by, us SOM players are getting impatient. All the SOM and Classic Era realms are low population. I should say sub one hundreds playing actively. There is no sane reason to be silent. Our Stormstrike realm guild has over 300 character, correction 900, only about 50 characters are played, belonging to 10-15 accounts. It is time to make a decision Blizz. You may be loosing account subscriptions.

It’s actually hilarious that blizzard is continuing to delay the SoM transfers. The game is dead, look at server stats, there hasn’t been a single horde raid on Jom in weeks. There aren’t even 30 people willing to sign up. What are you waiting for, just open the transfers to era. If people cared about tabard they’ll stay and keep trying. But why punish the rest of us. The population continues to dwindle and a lot of people are sitting here wondering when something is going to happen with the game. Blizzard just look at you’re freaking servers, no one is playing. There are more dire maul gold bots online than actual players on Jom horde. Update the stupid game, open the transfers, and accept the fact that SoM was scuffed.

when are transfers opening?
Why should characters that had an altered classic experience be allowed to transfer onto the live classic Wrath server? Every player on the Wrath Classic realms had to earn their titles, mounts, novelty items the old fashion way… while the people on SoM had a sped-up, somewhat scuffed processed of receiving these collectables.
You should make new realms on the Classic Era solely designated for the SoM realms. That way the SoM characters are not “polluting” the original classic servers and they can continue to play the version of the game they love, which is classic.
Please, for the love of all that is holy, do not put the SoM characters on the Wrath Classic realms. Please…
The 30 horde players left playing won’t break your game lmao. The amount of people that played SoM that will transfer to play era is a piss in the pool.

It appears they may have encountered some issue they are trying to work through. This was a couple of weeks ago in an interview with Wowhead.
Have some patience.
If they had something new to report they would post as they have in the past.
They still are not behind as the timeframe they promised for SoM duration is not yet up.
