No ulduar nerfs planned!

Well im not gotta get into the rdf debate. Personally i couldnt care less if we have or dont have it. I play with friends and guildies so it doeant effect me, but i understand the reasonings why people want it.

Yea but I mean raids too were easy to a certain point. I think buffs made Ulduar better, but maybe they pushed them a bit too far, which is why I think a 5% hp nerf to everything would just go a long way.

Then you should have no issue clearing it without nerfs.

Yogg lived for almost 3 months before he was finally killed and Heroic LK lasted 2 months.

Casual has nothing to do with skill.

Lets say they did 5% like you mentioned. Their would still be people that would complain as its not enough. Have you looked at any logs from people that say they cant kill these bosses? Most their issues a nerf cant fix. A nerf cant fix poor dps/heals. A nerf cant fix people dying to dumb stuff that shouldnt be happeneing in the first place. So saying that, why does my experience have to get dumbed down more because others refuse to improve.

People were figuring out raiding back then. Being casual wasn’t the same thing as now.

People will always complain about the rain the sun and the clouds. Doesn’t mean we don’t need them.

I think a 5% hp nerf remove some dps checks which makes it easier for people that can’t meet them because of gear or poor comp. I think nerfing more than that would be controversial and probably make the raid way less fun but I still think you should do something.

Most i read and see on peoples logs when they link them, dps isnt exactly the issue. People just dont do mechanics properly. Someone will link their logs and youll see half the raid getting killed by cosmic smash, people getting pelted by shadow bolts on Gen etc. Thats why i say a nerf wont help average players down these bosses. What will, is learning the fight better and moving your character when needed.

HP nerfs have worked many times for retail raids. You get a bit less mechanics because fights last less longer and you get less people failing dps checks. Wasting less pulls making progression way faster.

And thats true but unless they improve their play, they will still die to the same things. Just from a boss with less hp than it had before.

They might, but also the pull where they weren’t but that you didn’t meet the dps check or that you got an extra star exploding might just not happen. You could also get one less tantrum, all of it can have impacts.

Also true. But im only commenting on the many logs ive seen where people says they cant kill. Mainly algalon logs. And almost every log was the same. All smash deaths, star deaths etc.

Saying that, i do agree with them removing the timer for groups to have more time to figure it out.

The goal is not to give free kills. Just to push people a bit over so they don’t have to prog as much as people before.
