What’s the point of having the bug mount for a few months without it carrying over to TBC?
Not sure if this is some sort of joke or just blatantly disrespecting the players time

I tend to agree, especially with it being a seasonal server and all, but realistically there’ll still be at least 6 months of use out of it for players, and the devs have already mentioned multiple times that there will be a permanent home for players after SoD, so that mount will continue to be used even after the content may end. I personally have no interest in the thing, especially after the new AQ mounts were confirmed to be usable outside of AQ, and some of them look even better than the black scarab mount.
You’ve summed up the SoD experience flawlessly.
They keep saying our toons won’t be deleted, but their word isn’t what it used to be.
I don’t see a future where a dead/inactive SoD server seems fiduciarily responsible to maintain. I could see them “washing” the toons into Classic Classic come the TBC prepatch, but that’s about it.
Theyve been doing it for years for Era so its not exactly hard to believe. Half of the servers are running on fumes but they keep them live.
Era was made to last for a long time, even when it’s inactive.
Season of Discovery isn’t Era.
With the current devs yep
