Sub expires this week. Was looking through the wardrobe realizing the best looking weapon textures in the game are exclusives from years ago that I can’t get despite the content being literally recreated with the same level of difficulty. I’ll come back when Blizzard reverses their awful decision.

Kind of… the fights are mostly the same. They felt much different to me this time around. I completed all 36 in Legion and have all rewards from the new one.
I disagree. Most of them are easier. Some are harder and need balanced like guardian druid to reflect it is a timewalking event. Not to mention gearing for them is easy af since the best stuff comes from soloing old content. There’s also no entry fee with the new version.
Legion MT was limited time, they can’t truly recreate those fights without switching back to all our Legion abilities, gear, weapons ect. Those weapons show that player leveled that char, geared and learned that spec and completed a challenge during that time.
They should never return. Thankfully Blizz agrees and stated as much when they announced TW MT.

Knowing they were limited time, I worked hard for those appearances in the current content, and was proud to earn them when I defeated the bosses and unlocked the appearances.
If they were all returned in current content, it removes the additional value that’s held behind them - And sure, there’s appearances & mounts I’d love to have from previous challenge modes from the other expansions (Especially the Mage set from MoP) but I still have the same mindset it. When Blizzard releases Timewalking to do the events for different yet similar models – I’m honestly fine with that, because they’re still keeping the originals sacred.
