No stacking of buffs? Come on

Someone on the blue team or player team tell me why I can’t stack buffs like “Vanilla”?

After weeks of collecting strength and agility scrolls.
Farming e’ko.
Collecting blasted land PETA parts
Farming herbs for strength, agility, and stamina elixirs
Saving stacks of Un’goro crystals
Farming sandworm meat
Soon to be collecting hollow’s end candy

Why aren’t buffs stacking like vanilla? That’s what we all wanted right? Currently it’s vanilla content with retail coded consumables. All that’s missing is the “Counts as Guardian Elixir”, “Counts as Battle Elixir” I want my stacked buffs!

Maybe because you are a 120 Druid in BFA and not in Classic.

I played Vanilla back in the day and same name buffs never stacked there either. Different buffs that do the same thing still do stack. For example, Imp’s Blood Pact stacks with Priest’s PW:F, even if both are Stamina boosts. But two Priests can’t pop two PW:F on the same players.

Although it sounds like you’re referring to some sort of end game consumable buffs. If so, then I have no idea. I just assume they follow the same rules.

So it was only a few days ago that we had a blue post responding to people who were having trouble after hitting the cap of 32 simultaneous buffs, and trying to gain a 33rd. I haven’t had that many myself yet, but clearly there’s a LOT of things that stack.

What are you referring to OP? Are you referring to scrolls not stacking with buffs? Like an intellect scroll stacking with Arcane Intellect? That never worked even in Vanilla.

Did that actually work on private servers or something?

Generalrule of thumb: consumables that affect the same stat won’t stack.

i used agility elixir, then tried to to put on agility scroll, and it told me “stronger spell is active” … couldn’t have them both :frowning:

Yeah, tried to use an Elixir of Greater Intellect while I had an Arcane Intellect buff and it was a no-go.

I honestly don’t remember how buffs worked/stacked at any of the different patches back in Vanilla. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This is the main reason why eyewitnesses testimony is the least acceptable form of proof in a court of law…
