This seems to be ongoing now, but the glove enchant for zandalari mining does not actually increase mining speed unless you are mining an elemental corpse, whereas herbalism does not care what the source is.
Currently, the glove enchant does not appear to be working as it should compared to all the other profession enchants.
Want to bump this up as I am also experiencing this.

It has always worked just fine for me. Without the enchant it takes me five cycles (3.2 seconds) to mine a node. With the enchant it only takes me three cycles (1.7 seconds) to mine.
Have the same issue 1.7 sec cast with the enchant and 1.6s without the enchant. Guildie is telling me his is working fine .5 sec cast.
