No smart a** answers

Let me start by saying keep your smart a** answers to yourself. This is a serious question.

I have done a lot of battlegrounds over the years. I would like to break into rated bgs. But, we know there is no solo queue.

The posts talk about using the lfg tool to find a group. But, nowhere is an explanation of how to do this. It certainly is not obvious.

I can’t believe that there is no guide explaining this.

I doubt that I am the only person with this question.

In before all the smart a** answers.

Do you not know how the rating system works? If you’re new, you’re going to look for sub 1500 groups or YOLOs which are just sign up and go groups, nothing serious. Otherwise join a group that needs whatever role you’re playing. Most comps take 1 tank 3 heals 6 dps.

Depending your rating, you click on the PvP in your tab and look for Premade Groups. Select Rated Battlegrounds and start applying for ones that fits your current RBG status/rating.

Most RBG leader will post requirements in their groups. Unfortunately it’s still a hit/miss and you might sit there with a bunch of declines. You want to start with Yolo/Chill group up to 1000 or so RBG rating. From then on, you will likely see 1400 push group and they will require Discord/WoW voice. It gets a bit more harder to push higher unless you made friends along the way.

Good luck.

Do you seriously need a guide to say “press i, now click the PvP tab, now click premade groups”?
Really? It’s right there in the same window as the random BG buttons that you claim to have done a lot of.

It is an old outdated system. There should be a solo queue for rated BGs by ilvl. But that would take time and programmer effort and unless there is a dollar value tied to it and Blizzard can make money on it, they’re not doing it.

This is the new Activision - do less, with less, and watch the stock price rise. Lay off employees to improve earnings per share so executives can get their bonuses.

There is a reason the game had a drop in subs by 40%. And their response to that wasn’t to improve the QoL issues for players, balance, and improve the PVP experience. But to change the sub structure to 60 days. That tells you all you need to know.

Try finding a PvP guild, there are still some good ones out there, but you may need to switch realms. Just joined one a month ago and it makes Rated fun and much easier, even if we lose it is nice to do Rated with people you know.

Probably more important than figuring out LFG, you may want to work on the attitude a little before you start trying to invest time into organized groups. Lol You went 0-100 before anyone even responded. :joy:

Oh, Mage Tower on Eye of The Storm. Nothing significant about it, was just throwing out a random scenario for comedic purposes. Lol

No was giving a smart answer due to the OP lol but yea, if you can’t figure out how to get into rbgs, there are tougher aspects that he def won’t pick up in game.

The irony of calling someone an idiot when you don’t even know how to queue for a rated BG.

Just because you put in your post “no smart a** answers” doesn’t mean people are going to listen. Deal with it?

It’s not a difficult system to figure out, if you can’t then I think you deserve the smart a** answers.

Not unless you say please.

The irony of it is the only response he bothered to reply to was my original comment, which wasn’t even me being sarcastic. LOL

Guess we gotta wait a few days for the next instalment.

Top notch retorts take careful time and planning. I feel him.
