maybe they all decided if they can’t make any gold because too many ‘nice’ people giving stuff away they won’t bother participating in professions at all.
That was sort of the aim of loss leaders - to drive others out of business. Enjoy.

Jc is pretty bad right now. But I’m surprised you haven’t found a work order for it on your realm. Surely there’s a guy out there who can cut it. Especially on MG of all realms.

they have a JC running around on that server giving everything away for free - the logical outcome of that is other people don’t bother.
Time to xfer realms, then xfer back after you get the gem.

I have the pattern but my chance of tier three is like 1/3 or something. For some reason JC seem to put points into earth last. I noticed the orders on the order board and switched my points from air to earth until I got the recipe.
It’s not that bad. It’s just that people like me didn’t know what they were doing and didn’t focus on the right areas intially. Like I focused on glassware because I wanted to make transmogs, not realizing that the recipe was never going on the AH on my small realm and was not worth a million gold when people were paying 100g commissions. So I am now catching up on faceting.
OP should try offering large commission for the work order. Another JC will see that may decide it’s worth it to fill out their earth tree in faceting.

just came back this week and yep professions are really porked.
Plenty of people have that cut.
I’ve maxed everything that gives +skill and still can’t cut 3* without inspiration or one of those +30 skill add-ons. So not sure if you’re specifically looking for 3* and being cheap about it or what…
I wish the work orders were region wide. And the recipes on the AH. I see recipes for 2M gold that are 140k on other servers.
I can make it, but it took me awhile to get there. Many people put their talents in other trees and its really hard to have talents everywhere with JC.
My JC is making mats for my other professions. Only those that happen to specialize in that part of JC, just like a blacksmith that specializes in 1H weapons and cannot fill an armor request.
As a crafter, it is soooo frustrating that I am time-gated on my profession (or worse, cannot find any orders TO level my profession)
Lots of people can cut r3 skillfulls.
We charge ~20K commission though.
Which is actually a bargain tbh.
I don’t charge that much for mine, but I do charge if you want a guaranteed r3 because it costs me 50 mettle even with the absolute maximum possible points from the skill trees; I’m 9 points shy of max rank without an insight & non-space goats would be 14.
they like free stuff though - so I am rather doubtful they are willing to pay.
