So I wanted to start returning to old content and level professions I never took the time to complete, like Fishing.
However when I start Fishing in the old world, I’m not getting any skill points.
Anyone know what I’m missing? Thanks.
Edit/Update: I fished from a school and that triggered the first skill point gain, and I’ve been leveling up ever since with each cast. Thanks.
Edit/Update 2: Apparently fishing in Org specifically is bugged and isn’t yielding any skill points.
You haven’t trained it yet.

I went to the trainer and learned every level from Classic to Shadowlands (playing on a new alt)

we haven’t needed one of those for years. 
LOL,yeah,because we carried them for years ,just in the old zones you need one. We hand net fishing,hand fishing and harpoons now .Can’t wait til we have wresting or log hopping. 
It is no longer possible to get skillups fishing in capital cities.
^ You don’t get classic fishing from fishing in capital cities for whatever reason.
That used to be a thing. It no longer is.
