I have finished all the quests needed for achievement “No Shellfish endeavor” and didnt get the toy reward. anyone else have the same issue?
Hi! I am having this same issue. I got this achievement when TWW went live so I’m not sure if I got it by mistake or what but I did not get my toy! I contacted support and they said it was a bug and to mention it here.
According to my achievement log, the 3 requirements are met for me, but I didn’t receive the toy. When I put in a ticket, they said I was missing requirements. I made a macro with the 3 queried quests to see what each of my Characters had as completing. It showed one or possibly two having completed the origination quest “Oh, The Clawdacity!”. The WQ “Claw for Alarm!” was up. I proceeded to make sure all of my characters that were going to be doing or have been doing their class halls to have a true query for both “Oh, The Clawdacity!” and “Claw for Alarm” done. Now, I waited. I saw “Claw for Alarm!” go back up for the next WQ batch and ignored it because supposedly I was set. A week goes by and “Now That’s Just Clawful!” is up. I race to finish it on my druid, and no toy triggered. I query the quest complete macro I made, and it only showed “Oh, The Clawdacity!” done and “Now That’s Just Clawful!”. I hesitantly think, maybe I overlooked doing both quests on that toon. I go to the next, immediately do the query; and it’s showing only the origination quest, “Oh, The Clawdacity!”, being done. This result is found through all of the characters I had. I reopened the ticket, with this new information, and redid all the quests on my all my toons. So now my query results are true for “Oh, The Clawdacity!” and “Now That’s Just Clawful!” I don’t know if the true query for “Claw for Alarm!” was wiped because this is a WQ, and it is repeated, or if it was wiped because it was up for two times in a row. There is also the possibility that since I already have the achievement, I’m SOL in getting the toy to trigger. I’m writing all this here in the hopes that the devs see it, and this bug can be resolved. The space for writing up a bug report is ridiculously short; and I couldn’t get all the trials I ran to fit within it. In this last reopened ticket, the GM said he’d move the ticket over to the devs, and to keep posting, so the issue can gain momentum and hopefully information to track the bug down.
Edit:
So the WQ “Now That’s Just Clawful!” is down, and I checked my quest queries. It is only showing the “Oh, The Clawdacity!” as being done. The WQ “Now That’s Just Clawful!” is now showing false on my query.
WQ “Now That’s Just Clawful!” was up, did it on my main and one of my warlocks. The query prior to finishing read origination quest done, the 2 WQ only not done. The query post quest finish was origination quest done and “Now That’s Just Clawful!” done, “Oh, The Clawdacity!” not done.
Edit:
Still showing achievement complete and no Mrgrglhjorn owned.
After recently finishing the WQ “Now That’s Just Clawful!”, I was wondering what to do next and noticed “Oh, The Clawdacity!” was up now, my queries for the origination quest and “Now That’s Just Clawful!” were still coming back as True; so I went to get a true query for this WQ too. Finished quest.
Queries for origination quest, “Now That’s Just Clawful!”, and “Oh, The Clawdacity!” are all showing true. Achievement still showing complete, and toy is still missing.
I put in a ticket. I’m hoping this time, since everything is showing that I should have received the toy, they will be able to hand it out.
Edit 11 hours later:
Finally received a response from a GM, and of course the WQ “Now That’s Just Clawful!” query was back to false because it was no longer an active WQ. Good news though, I got redirected again to post a bug report, and did so, again.
So keep those bug reports going!!
Edit 5-16-2025
I noticed that the two world quests “Now That’s Just Clawful!” and “Claw for Alarm!” were up. I had another alt who hadn’t done “Oh, the Clawdacity!” I got on my alt and did the first quest “Oh, the Clawdacity!”. The achievement still showed completed with objectives met and toy given. The actual toy box shows toy missing still.
I do “Now That’s Just Clawful!”, no changes. Finally do “Claw for Alarm!”, no changes. I looked on Armory for my account achievements. It shows that I have completed the achievement. STILL! I want my toy, can’t finish a raid achievement until I have it. Fix this, please. I also have screen shots if proof is needed.
6/11/2025 on Monk did Claws for Alarm. Armory still shows achievement “No Shellfish Endeavor” completed on 7/31/24. In game achievements still shows achievement being done 7/31/2024. Toy box still missing Mrgrglhjorn.
6/28/2024 on Monk, Claws for Alarm noticed was up, again, did quest, still no toy, armory and in game achievements still showing finished on 7/31/24, more screen shots taken.
7/9/2025 I noticed on Bizzard’s website you can put up a gm ticket which also allowed file uploads, 4 total. The length of the text allowed seems increased as well.
Part of what I sent on 7/8/2025 was:
“I did not receive the reward toy, Mrgrglhjorn, from the No Shellfish Endeavor. In-game achievements indicate I earned it on 07/31/2024. Armory sometimes also shows that it was earned on 07/31/2024. And sometimes it shows incomplete. I have screenshots of both on different dates. I’ve tried talking to gms; and they say make a bug report. I have multiple times. I have also done the requirements multiple times on alts despite it being an account wide achievement. I have screen shots showing I completed the requirements, several times. But I am unable to re-trigger the mechanism to award the toy. I’m happy to upload the four files allowed; I have many more screen shots if needed. …”
I also uploaded four screenshots confirming the information.
The meat of the response was:
“…I’ve reviewed your account and can confirm you did complete the achievement on the date you mentioned. However, it seems that the character who completed the achievement was transferred; therefore, you could not find the toy. Unfortunately, in this case, in order to get the toy, you will need to complete the achievement again on another character…”
Now… the issue I really had with that response was I already stated, and sent screenshots with proof that I have done it on other characters and it still didn’t change.
My response:
“I did all the criteria again on [NAME], the death knight compilation screenshots of all 3 quests done uploaded. She has not been transferred, nor name changed. I have redone the criteria on other characters as well. It won’t refinish the achievement because it is account wide. I CAN’T just do it on another character; I have already done so! It seems that the toy is given when the achievement is completed. And it’s impossible for me to re-complete it, because the achievement is account wide!! Which means all of my characters associated with [ACCOUNT] are complete. I don’t get credit for completing it again, because they all say they have competed it.”
I resent screen shots specifically showing the character completing all three quests.
A second GM followed up:
"…I understand it’s frustrating when in-game activities don’t work as intended and I am sorry you were affected by an issue like this. We have received multiple reports of this happening to other players and I can confirm it is not working as designed. We’ve passed it over to our QA and Developers and we’re hoping to have a permanent fix in very soon.
While we can’t always assist with work-arounds for known issues, in this specific case I’m happy to report I was able to fix this right up for you, and you should now be able to continue as intended :). Please check the mailbox on your character [NAME], who I confirmed completed all 3 quests…"
TL:DR
Take screenshots of one character doing all of the quests for proof (may require making an alt since the first quest isn’t a World Quest) and send it in to a GM with uploaded files.
If the first GM doesn’t bother to read or look at the information, try to make it more concise and resend it. Perhaps with chat items, calendar dates, and other pertinent information highlighted and circled, it will make it easier to find and see; especially, since they are inundated with tickets, and get paid by tickets completed, not quality.
