No, seriously, we REALLY don't all want Dual Spec in TBC

lol, no.

There is no right way to care about the game.

What matters is what majority of the audience wants. The fact is, the no changers are often the loudest base, but in reality they’re a very tiny fraction of the player base. Blizzard lost so many players in classic because they listened to the no changers. We saw how abused the game was. How world buffs, boosting, and rampant multiboxing using terrain exploits in dungeons ruined the experience for nearly everyone.

The best thing is blizzard realized the fact that no changers were delusional and mostly stopped listening to them a long time ago.

we’re going to have to agree to disagree on that point.

Actual news vs

A paid advertising spot.

And you ignore the people who are content to complain in-game or in their guild/server discord. I certainly can’t blame people not wanting to come to the forum and have to argue with addicts.

I’m fairly certain any time spent worrying about dual spec in TBCC is wasted.

Is this a reverse psychology trick you try to pull off?

then i REALLY need to inform you that you are selfish and stupid

People being allowed to play the game leaves you nothing? My god the classic community is literally insane.

Unfounded supposition. None of my guildies visit this forum and every single one of them that I’ve talked to want Dual Spec. There was one player who was against Dual Spec, but as time has passed, he’s now seen the need for it in TBC Classic.

False. Every single poll on every single Classic TBC related forum or subreddit has shown a majority of players want Dual Spec. Every single poll with a large sample size has shown upwards of 70% in favor of implementing Dual Spec in TBC.

The vast majority of players want Dual Spec in TBC Classic.

Dual spec wasn’t in TBC. If they add dual spec can they please just change the name and stop pretending that this is Burning Crusade. Call it retro retail or I don’t know anything but Burning Crusade because dual spec isn’t Burning Crusade!

Can literally the play the game that did not have dual spec originally, without dual spec. What are you even talking about?

Every single poll on every single classic tbc related forum ey? You’ve read them all? And not only read them all, you’re confident they are a representative sample of the playerbase?

You can post in bigger, bolded font, and use fancy phrases like “unfounded supposition” all you want.

You’re still full of it.

still don’t care lol

Yes.

Not all of them, but enough of them.

Find me a poll with a large sample size that shows otherwise. You can’t, because it doesn’t exist. It doesn’t exist, because the vast majority of players want Dual Spec in TBC Classic.

For reference to keep in mind throughout the comment, I am NOT for dual spec.

One of the core ideas I see behind anti dual spec is that people feel it will force hybrid classes to play something they don’t want to play.

One of the core ideas I see for dual spec is that people want to have a second talent tree for pvp or farming. (If you can’t farm gold, its not because of your talents, you’re actually just bad. Professions do not require talents.)

So, what if, just an idea, and like I said previously, I dont want dual spec, or any iteration of it, what if there was a second talent tree for pvp only.

Its an exact copy of the current talent tree, not the legion pvp talent tree. You can have this second tree, and it will auto switch this to this second tree in pvp only, so arenas, both organized and open world, and battlegrounds.

This way, the anti dual spec argument is met where players aren’t “forced” to play something they don’t want as they don’t have a second tree to switch too, and those who want to pve and pvp get their second tree that can only be used in specific pvp situations.

Like I said, im not for dual talents, or even the idea I came up with, but would that quell both sides and appease both?

Agreed, keep the game the way it was.

I’m all for it, would be really awesome if I could tank during the week and heal during raid nights without wasting a ton of gold. Especially since BC already has a couple major gold dumps.

I could care less about dual spec, I just hate readjusting my bars for the spec I’m changing too. It’s a mild inconvenience that adds can fix, but not everyone uses the same addons.

What a self-defeating argument. If the game is already so easy then why do you want the game to be even easier?

Oh no, not the difficulty of the braindead 15 year old bosses that already bear no resemblance to how they actually were at the time

Id rather just be able to play the game
