This is the point you need to understand because this is exactly what dual spec solves.

I can definitely see how dual spec would fit in. I don’t personally think it solves the problem that you’ve identified as well as either reducing/removing respec fees, or simply allowing free respecs while out of combat.

I guess at the very least, we’ll find out when dual spec is introduced during WotLK Classic.
