If you’re willing to give it away for free blizzard, why even bother adding it?
I always miss the cool stuff. I’m still salty about the PvP honor towers at the beginning of legion. I told my family the best time to come visit but nooooooooooo we have to come that week. God damit mom! Why do you always ruin everything!
And every time they pop that mog they’ll think back on their 48/72h/31d suspension and know that they didn’t earn it.
Would you cheat then cop a 31 day suspension for an easily obtainable mog?
I leveled 2 warriors to 120 legitimately for both Zandalari and Kul’Tiran the first week. If they’re going to let these people who actually exploited keep their ill gotten gains, the heritage should just go to everyone. It’s only fair.
Taking it away from them will never give it to you, so why all the salt?
Because it’s saline solution.
I’ll see myself out.
I C What you did there.
Pretty sure I got both before you even got one
There’s no rollbacks? Really? sigh
Seriously? That’s the way you determine fairness? Right and wrong?
The simple solution is to let them keep their level but make them start and level a new toon to earn the heritage armor. I did it over a year ago when the leveling was still kinda slow. It’s really not fair to let them keep the heritage armor.
I never tried, that’s the difference. But my point still stand. What does being punitive on your end gain anyone?
I mean I don’t have heritage armors.
But I can understand where OP is going. He is probably annoyed he endured leveling through hell only to find people did it in a fraction of what he took
Sure they’re getting suspended but still
Who said that? My point was simply that the post is about punitive measures because of personal issues, not because of game fairness. Also, I would say that the missing game time is far more of a punishment, and the reason they won’t take the levels back is that the game time outweighs the time it would take to do it normally, which satisfies everyone…unless you just want to punish because of schadenfreude…
I agree, I’m creating a extraneous statement to showcase the fact its unfair. Basically, I boil it down to what Blizzard has done, and pointed out how its unfair then to everyone else.
I’m currently slogging through getting to 110 so I can complete the void elf unlock quest. I missed the use a trial account to complete it exploit. Fml:sob:
But this is game fairness. Someone is unlocking cosmetics that are tough to earn by exploiting a bug, that was acknowledged by Blizzard as being punishable, therefore more reason to take Heritage Armor away.
First of all, this was only acknowledged by Blizzard after the fact, even though people asked them directly on Twitter if it was a bug or not, they left it up for two days. Also, being banned is already punishing them, and lastly, I have seen many people banned that were NOT doing it at all for heritage armor.
You are attempting to be punitive for no other reason than to see other suffer, and it’s not a good look. They are losing more game time than it takes to level them to begin with, and they are paying money for that lost game time so…
Faction balance is a better topic for fairness.
Gnomeragan was going to be a capital city but because the trolls didn’t have one, Blizz cut it out.
Sounds fair right?
Blizzard shouldn’t have to acknowledge a clear exploit. If you need to be told that this was an exploit, you shouldn’t be playing games, you should be in school learning basic things like 1+1 = 2.
