I have just completed the Reclamation Rig event in Mechagon in hard mode but did not receive any rewards upon finishing (again).
I do not receive rewards while in normal mode too.
I have room in my bags.
I build the Rig and do the event solo, with the Supercollider from the Toys For Destruction quest. The Irradiated Elementals become irradiated, the 3 Unstable Irradiated Golem appear, the NPC says that “we did it” finishing the event.
This issue has occurred consistently, despite multiple attempts. I’m trying to collect the pets since years ago and it’s been impossible 
I am having the same issue, no rewards, bags have room, NPC says We did it.

Also encountering the same issue, completed it twice now, yesterday and today with plenty of bag space, NPC dialogue confirms it’s entered hard mode and been completed, but no rewards of any kind upon completion
Have encountered this daily all this week on at least normal with room in bag. It happened at least once last week as well.
This is similar to a problem I had with the Nazjatar ‘Summons from the Deeps’ a while back. While the event works properly, the event doesn’t trigger (no blue progress bar, no credit for the elementals at the end) As such the reward won’t drop because though the event works, without the scenario itself triggering, no reward boxes will drop
some characters can start the event, sometimes the rig is bugged, no rewards. Can you disable it until it is fixed? I doubt that “fixed the rec rig event” will be in a patch note. There is no good way to know if this a waste of time to do.
Adding a +1 here. Blizzard, please fix this bug. There’s loot that is only obtainable via this event (I’m going for the green shirt that has an aura when wearing) and I just wasted time and effort and got zero loot because of this.
Bump I literally did the rig event a few minutes ago and I got nothing, room in bags and all the messages/stages were popping up for me. NPC said we completed it, I could loot the lava mobs but they gave trash, and nothing ):

Hi I’m back I’ve been doing hardmode reclamation rig daily now since I need the shirt thing anyway, and have not received loot for a single one! I have been bug reporting but who knows. Other people around me were getting loot, but not me.
Another bump, even after the weekly reset there is no loot being awarded.
Hey guys. I had this issue 3 days in a row and found out that if you relog next to the rig it comes up with the event and I was able to get the rewards. Just grab your Supercollider first and relog as if you move away from the rig the event will disappear and you will need to relog again. Hope this helps anyone :))
I had this same thing happen and Customer serviced linked me this thread. Please reply if others have been able to duplicate Nixie’s “fix”.
Mine has been working for about 3 days now. You have to have the little event thing pop up as in having the % to fill killing enemies and I think that wasn’t triggering for me. I read on WoWhead that doing the relog trick works, too, so if it happens to me again I will try it and report back here.
as if hard mode isn’t annoying enough this happens.
I know having full inventory bags causes this, but I have also had it do it with empty bags.
Definitely needs fixing with the upcoming BFA meta achievement requiring Mecha Done which requires hard mode rig for several RNG drop items (I.E copper trim color palette for the x-995 mechanocat)

Following up on this - I was able to earn the Irradiated Box of Assorted Parts on my second attempt today (the first attempt didn’t register at all), and it dropped both the Vinyl: Triumph of Gnomeregan and Blueprint: Rustbolt Requisitions.
I made sure that I hit EVERY big elemental that spawned with the Supercollider and tagged all 3 of the final elementals (the giant ones at the very end) before killing them. I completed this at 1am so no one else interfered.
