But Roux doesn’t have to do with any of the writing outside of Shadow’s Rising.
After seeing how it all played out, there’s just no doubt anymore.

I have the book. I did not see much about rebuilding in it. They went to Hyjal and that was it.
I really think after such large events there should be something you can take part in game to rebuild.
Even if it’s only something like giving resources for the war campagin, you will at the end see buildungs, ancients and place for orfins etc.
This is rather important for player enjoyment and something FFXIV in fact does.
Might just be wishful thinking on my part, but i feel like after we beat the Jailer all the souls lost will be restored somehow.
Either all the Covenants pool their anima together to restore souls, or a reality is a created or restored that undoes the Jailer’s work. Whatever happens, everything will probably turn out ok.
Or they’ll just disappoint everyone by shrugging it off and saying that we saved some but you cant save em all.
The Night Elf souls were obliterated for the most part, there’s no coming back from that.
The Jailer has the power to change reality or some crap now. Perhaps we just use that after we kick his butt to change things back
I mean there’s no way anything good is ever going to come out of this story for Night Elves… since it hasn’t for the last 3 years, it won’t in the future.
I thought the nelf committee fixed decided it was 11 years
Night elves have many places to go.
Ashenvale
Darkshore
Hyjal
Felwood
Winterspring
pretty much everything north of the Barrens.
Ethriel is going through this for the first time. The veterans have dealt with it before.
Capital City, yes. it’s been in Horde hands since the Alliance forsook the Forsaken and forced them to join the Horde prior to the start of WOW.
But that hardly means anything since it’s still death to enter the Blighted city.
There’s plenty of Lordaeron that’s still contested… such as the Plaguelands.
Doesn’t help that the latest cinematic does ultimately prove her right. I truely feel terrible for NE and us worgen fans who wanted some closure for Teldrassil at the minimum
This never happened and you know it lol
Oh no, of course not. Being right sucks - especially when people blow right over the event horizons that some of these revelations represent and ask that we shift our expectations to regard the current situation as reasonable in order to claim that things are fine - especially when those people established the event as such an inflection point before it actually happened.
I’ve watched it happen so many times. This will be no different.
It most certainly did. After Arthas left the sundered remains of Lordaeron, the now undead citizens of the city sought to reconnect with their comrades in the Alliance, their embassies were met with a cry for their extermination as the living Humans lumped the with the Scourge that had killed their living bodies.
As the Alliance had Forsaken them, so they renamed themselves.
Again, this literally never happened. One of the reasons the story is such a mess right now, particularly regarding Sylvanas and the Forsaken, is because of people making stuff up out of thin air like you are and treating it as fact.
In fact, the moment that Sylvanas named them the Forsaken was in TFT, literally immediately after she and her undead followers had betrayed and murdered the last significant Alliance remnants in northern Lordaeron. It was they who forsook the Alliance, not the other way around.
Just out of curiosity, how do you know at the end of SL since the jailer is seemingly getting involved in time/reality altering stuff, that Teldrassil isn’t going to somehow be restored as well as every night elf that died there? If the power to alter time and change the past comes into play, Teldrassil can very well be restored as well as many other things. Wait to see what happens!
I stand by what I said. This story isn’t over. Your precious Teldrassil may not yet be forever doomed if time stuff comes into play.
Stares at Gilneas and laughs in Worgen Blizzard is doing everything they can to get people to stop caring about teldrassil. And redeeming Sylvanas is only the latest ploy they’re using
Can you just give me a time frame? I mean, I’ve been waiting for eleven years for my redemptive Night Elf moment.
Is it going to be fifteen? Twenty? Does that sound in line with your expectations?
