This is absolute insanity, Blizzard. How can you have a hub (for both factions, no less) with ZERO repair NPCs? Are you telling me I have to go all the way back to freaking Stormwind to repair my gear? WHY?!
Fix this. ASAP. Seriously.
Update: Tried to go back to Stormwind. Got booted from the server halfway there. I’m done for today.
I’m looking directly at a repair NPC - Boss Magor - on my level 64 alt at Wingrest Embassy. He’s been here for at least 10 minutes and has NOT moved.
It’s unbelievable. I’m just in Dragon Isles, need equipment repaired (despite being told the NPCs don’t attack without provocation I tried to run past those little firebuttons and they attacked me in a swarm; thanks Blizz) and there is only one repair source in (sort of) the Embassy. That’s the Traveling Trainer. I found him once last night, but today I went looking for him and, well, he was traveling to parts unknown. Joke’s on me. Hahaha
As long as I’ve played WoW (almost since the beginning) the hubs have always had repairs. Now Blizz has decided to abandon its long-standing conventions for no good reason I can discern other than that this way programmers can prove they deserve their salaries. BLIZZ TAKE NOTE: This is crap. Dragonflight is an EXPANSION. So, expand all you want but don’t blithely eliminate the core basics we all rely on. I never liked Shadowlands, and though I like some of the set design (the open air market outside the Embassy, for example), this kind of change is not “Expansion” so much as retooling. Sorry, but I say it’s okra and I say to hell with it.
