There will be zero reason to comeback to SL in DF and beyond. There is no crafted mounts plans to farm. There is no explosum or Blood to farm for mounts or crafted gear.
The only thing I can think of is lattices and strange goop.
I still use the scrapper and farm Legion WQ for Blood but SL has no redeeming value when it goes legacy, Blizz really needs to think about this from DF and forwards.

I theoretically would come back at some point to get the rest of the ZM mounts.
But in all likelihood that won’t happen.

The new player experience even skips Shadowlands from what I understand.
It’s BfA straight into DF.
SL is the current expansion. It’s not time for it to be part of Chromie time yet. But you are wrong, you can still go from 50 to 60 in SL. In fact I’ve leveled three Void Elves in SL in the last few months and I’ve got a couple more on the way.

No. They always nerf gold hard from world quests, emissaries by a factor of 10, and mission tables remove it entirely. I wouldn’t expect goldmaking to be nearly as lucrative in Shadowlands in the future.

Farm gold for the next expansion so you can max your crafting early and make a bunch in the AH.
