This is the dumbest this i have ever seen in the game. Win a Blitz match ZERO ratting change, go 3/3 in Shuffle ZERO rating change. spend 30+ min in ques for nothing. TOTAL waste of time, and these devs wonder why people hate their PVP system

Hi there. This generally occurs as a result of coming off a massive losing streak and the win is considered anomalous. You’ll gain MMR which will help you earn more CR in the future.
Lack of understanding?
If we went directly off mmr instead of having this little buffer then you’d have people losing 200-450 on a bad queue session rather than 100.

This makes no sense, since the shuffle game I played right before I went 3/3 and gained +31 rating
Oh, and this just means you’re at your correct mmr.
That’s collecting your incremental inflation check. If I go 3-3 right now for 0 cr then go 3-3 in 2 weeks when I’m roughly 40 mmr higher I’ll get a bunch of rating for free.
This is everybody being pushed up as the season progresses.
Just gives me a headache. been playing wow off and on since launch in 2004. first time I’m really trying to take PVP serious and learn to play better, but this system just makes you want to give up
Why do you think 3-3 is inherently deserving of a positive rating adjustment, assuming equal mmr

I’m saying the system is confusing, and waiting in que for 30min to get no rating change - or + seams like a waste of time.
What is confusing about number going up when win and down when lose
You just press queue and play
because its all over the place there is no consistency. PEOPLE like consistency. Lose a match lose -17 win the very next match gain +7, lose the match after lose -17, win the next match +11. its dumb

I’ve had this happen before. It’s cause my mmr tanked from a losing streak. It feels frustrating but you can climb out of it! I was close to blitz elite and hit an awful stretch of Ls and lost like 200 rating. I kept pushing tho and got my mmr back up there and eventually got elite.

winning 3 and losing 3 at mmr similar to your cr will almost always result in 0 gain 0 loss
i don’t really know why that’s frustrating

As many people have said, the reason you’re losing that rating is because you’re losing games you should win. Do you have a vod of your gameplay? If so there are a lot of people who would be happy to give tips!
