No PvP Vault, but Conquest cap only goes up 600?

Wondering if this is intended? You can get a ring or neck each week, or wait two weeks to get a piece of gear.

Edit: people who wasted conquest on getting neck and rings should have saved for 4 set.

I think he’s referring to crafting conquest gear which still misses the point on OP complaining about the cap.

The weapon quest should be pick one for weapon options or pick +9 of the crafting badges. Also crafting gear costs more if not the same conquest as getting it from vendor.

Im not an avid pvp player but even I have to say this is the dumbest response. who wants to go through the rigamarole and hassle to get crafted gear when there is perfectly fine gear on a vendor. the issue is Blizzard drip feeding players the points necessary to buy them.

point is, there should be a choice.

You need conquest to buy the herald things that you need to craft gear.

Don’t know of anyone that wants to pay gold+conquest for gear instead of straight conquest. Makes no sense. The Conquest ‘free weapon’ isn’t even BIS weapon so you still have to craft a weapon at some point

you got 9 heralds for free, and the conquest quest is not pick one. it based on what spec you are on completion for what you get

Yep, noticed that. Last week, the cap was 1600. Week 2 into this season, the cap has increased to 2200. So… 600 conquest for the entire week? What? That’s less than one epic BG a day. We don’t even have a vault to lean on any more. The circumstance is so abysmal that it has to be a bug. I submitted a bug report, for what it’s worth…

Kind of kills my desire to play at all if progress is going to be so agonizingly slow.

We’re also getting the free* conquest weapon next reset, which is pretty good since that’s a huge piece of power that you previously had to gamble on the vault to give you

I mean, it would be better if this season didn’t feature weapon-exclusive embellishments, which require a crafted weapon, and may or may not be bis embellishments, but what can you do

Exactly my point the weapon from the quest gives me a staff. My BiS is crafted dagger with embellishment or crafted staff (WHICH COSTS 10 BADGES TO CRAFT) 10 badges = 1750 conquest. You can look at my armory and see what I chose.

I wasn’t aware of the Weapon quest last week until I capped out of Conquest…guess that means I’m going to be a two weeks behind everyone =(

Its giving crit weapon as ret. Migjt as well not give me a thing.

It makes no sense

  1. The quest isnt retroactive so now Im a week behind
  2. The quest doesnt offer ALL weapons to choose from… but only one and ofcourse is thebone I dont care for.

This is one step forward and a million backwards
