For some reason, even though I’m doing the delves, I have made little to no progress in the delve journal. I have done a couple bountiful delves and a bunch of regular delves, but no progress. Am I missing something?

Most of my rep for that came from a quest item i got in the delve. Other than that reward i haven’t gained much progress either.
I was getting 100 progress per bountiful T6 delve I did today.
It’s very slow, and it’s gonna get even slower when people start running out of keys.

Do you actually need keys to get progress? I thought the key was just to open the chest.
I don’t think you need keys, but delves are significantly less attractive when you don’t have one. I don’t foresee many people grinding keyless delves just for the seasonal meter.
Unless I’m misremembering, we get the progress when the final boss dies, before even entering the treasure room.

It seems to be worth running bountiful delves even without keys.
You’d be surprised what some players do in this game.

ive stopped getting delver XP altogether and brann is level 31 and cant get more levels. idk what happened
how often does that item drop?
Im not sure. Ive only seen it once so it may be a 1 time turn in?
I think i got it on my first 8, but i cant recall.
Brann only levels inside bountiful delves now.
I think I’ll stick to pet battles and mining the way the delves are currently being handled.

So ive seen other ppl say he stopped at lvl 31 some say 32.
Maybe its just bugged? Or they could have capped him.
For me, Brann is lvl 15 and no more xp
Brann only gets xp from bountifuls after 15.
For the delve journal i think its one decent chunk from the weekly quests and then just a small trickle at then end assuming you killed all the mobs buffed by zekvir.
So how do I keep lvling Brann? Which weekly quest do I do to make progress on the Delve Journal?
Brann was hard capped at 38 according to Wowhead, but it seems some players were capped at 31, some at 32, some 35… it varies. I think devs did something they haven’t told us about yet, either massively nerfed his XP gains or froze them at random levels.
I ran a T8 Underkeep earlier and got far less XP than I have been getting the past 2 days in T8s. So they did something, but clearly nothing they want to tell us because the hotfix notes haven’t been updated for today and its already past 7pm in Irvine.
