So, according to you, everyone starting now or later will never be able to be as good crafter as you because you self entitled it to you for doing it longer?
I’m sorry my dear, it doesn’t work like that.
Every system implemented so far in the game that had cumulative points like this in the past (artifact power, artifact knowledge) had a catch up mechanism, so new players or even alts were able to be competitive and still be able to play.
No one is asking to be handed free knowledge points to be at exact point of the early crafters, no one will be able to catch that because those were the ones that exploited the dragon shards of knowledge, so they are even far ahead of anyone, because they were also able to catch all those first time crafts for even low level gear (384, 386, etc) that they were not even specialized (try getting first time craft points with weapon recipes if you are armor specialized… give up).
So, all is being asked is a catch up that would help to get back, over short time, the missed knowledge points that belong to the weekly cap.
These points if you didn’t catch this week, are lost forever. You’ll never recover them. And until they implement a catch-up mechanism, you’ll be perpetually behind anyone that started before you.
