I was hanging out in Bastion, channeling into Sophia’s Overture when my chat… exploded:

This went on for about 5 minutes, a few messages per second, until Nomorenames - a guildie - logged in at 00:47:25, and then the whole thing stopped. Somebody else in the guild reported the same thing.
I’ve seen a similar thing happen in the past when somebody uses that toy that turns you into a naga myrmidon (I don’t remember what it was called, but it came out with Nazjatar, I believe), except there it wouldn’t be spammy like that, and it wouldn’t use the player’s actual name, it would print the name of the NPC the player turns into.
