No Option to not help Baine / Turn him in?

Hi. Doing the new quest and… there is no option to not help this stupid oversized cow. If there was, I missed it completely because there was no clear option for it.

That’s also pathetic and stupid. I’m an orc who likes orc things, not a tauren who likes changing his / her faction every other xpac because “u didnt do somethin i lieked”.

It’s just lazy. They wanna create this inner conflict in the Horde and yet can’t be bothered to create two different versions for players to quest through. It doesn’t even have to be a whole new quest line, but I have a really hard time believing that a Forsaken rogue for example would kill dark rangers with Baine just because.

You get option to tell him on to Nathanos but I thought the same thing.

They’ll just keep making the choices worse and worse trying to make you realize that picking Sylvanas is the wrong option. “Will you side with Sylvanas as she teams up with N’zoth and the void lords to destroy all of Azeroth? Don’t worry, she says she’ll protect you!”

“Will you stand by and nod approvingly as Sylvanas lifts a kitten out of a box and strangles it with piano wire in her latest gambit to defeat the Alliance while it looks at you pleadingly or will you save it?”

I reckon some people still would side with her even then. Even if Blizzard added Glowing Neon Signs that openly stated “Sylvanas is Evil and siding with her is the Wrong Choice” or outright stated in the next Q&A that Sylvanas was Evil and siding with her would incur a permanent penalty to that character in future expansions, people would still side with her.

Not in my quest text but some say it was in theirs. Maybe it’s based on if you helped Saurfang or not?

Checked Wowhead and the text quest doesn’t mention it there either. Are we actively experiencing the Mandela effect this very minute?

No, she doesn’t. Victory above all else. Neck means to hang yourself.

I lost all hope for the Horde the moment Sylvanas willingly blight bombed Horde soldiers at Lordaeron and even then majority of the Horde were like, “Yeeeeah! Victory for Sylvanaaaas!” LMFAO, gods help you Baine, ain’t no saving this Horde. Not even Thrall.
