At least post on your main. The open world isnt even that populated anymore because people raid log and farm instances far more than the open world. Almost every WPvP engagement I get into is 1v1. The only place that’s not true is BRM because it’s an actual hub for dungeons and raids.

If you are having trouble on a basically 60/40 server please do us a favor and go to heartseeker.

On the contrary, I think vast majority of the people wanted “balanced” PvP realms. People were willing to pay $$ to transfer to those realms. But the problem is, once enough people transferred to those balanced realms, it became imbalanced and here we are.

If Blizzard actually planned faction balance and stopped listening to #nochange, we wouldn’t be in the current situation.

Games used to have a limited number of lives instead of endless continues. Many gamers can’t emotionally handle when they are getting handled. They lack the fighting spirit that develops when dealing with difficulty.

All these new gamers need is to be locked in a room with nothing but NES Battletoads to play. It’ll put hair on your chest and make you a man if you don’t pull the cartridge out and smash it on the floor first.

I “cant believe” people find mind numbing mob killing fun with zero thrills to gank or get ganked.

And I can’t understand why some people find it fun. To me ganking seems like killing rabbits or squirrels. With corpse camping being an even more boring waste of time. I’ve killed an occasional rabbit and found it boring to kill them and it wouldn’t be fun to be one.

But what the hell, if people want to do that I don’t care if pvp servers exist. If like how I feel about classic servers when BC comes out. I don’t care if some people want to sit forever on a server that doesn’t go beyond level 60. I just won’t play on one

That’s not being ganked. It’s a somewhat balanced struggle, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. With my hunter, feral druid, or other strong dps classes I’ll push toward the red. I’ll even try to solo an elite above my level. When questing with my holy priest I won’t even try to solo an elite at my level and stick with the green or yellow quests.

push a wee bit harder, just to the point that you begin attracting adds at 100 yards.
Then ya get ganked as it were.

Probably fatally on a holy priest, they are a pain to solo level, much harder than resto to me

Yeah, it’s possible to move so far into higher levels that it’s like being ganked. Where nothing you do hurts the mob and it kills you in one or a few shots.

When questing with my holy priest I won’t even try to solo an elite at my level and stick with the green or yellow quests.

That interesting. I usually cap out around 3 levels over me for ‘easy’ kills, and about 6 levels over me for annoying but doable kills.

For elites and dungeon soloing, I usually try to avoid things that are around +4 and aim for +1-2 level elites, but +3 is still fine, +4-5 elite tends to be where it gets really rough and usually isn’t worth it.

Still enjoying my pvp realm tyvm. Was farming cultists in silithus earlier today and had lots of skirmishes along the way. Both factions had everything from solo players to groups of three or five running around farming and fighting. Camps kept swapping hands and it was all in all a very fun time.

I don’t think you know what ‘afraid’ means. People just want to play how they want to play. I don’t think it’s fun having my gameplay being interrupted by someone randomly picking a fight because the option exists.

Just because someone else enjoys the CHANCE of stepping in poop, sees it as a “Thrill” while taking a walk, doesnt make me “afraid” of getting poop on my shoes if I go to a poop free place. If that is what they enjoy? more power to em, i dont and so I decide to reduce the opportunity for poopy shoes.

Maybe they dont want to become better players at PVP and get ganked or give the ganking.
Maybe they are not interested in PVP at all.
