The only reason why Mages would want T6 is if they want to go fire in SWP, I only want it because I like collecting the tier sets.
I don’t know why OP’s getting annoyed over tokens, 3 kinds of them and the bosses that drop them are guaranteed to drop them so it isn’t surprising at all that this kind of RNG has happened.

Took us forever to get Vanq gloves but we’ve been tossing Vanq chests and legs away for 2nd and 3rd offspecs for awhile. Meanwhile Conq tokens of all kinds are basically rotting…
That RNG isn’t happening to the vast majority. Statistically each token drop should be 33.3% but vanquisher looks to be closer to 50% which skews the others terribly.
That’s what I’ve seen. It’s ridiculous at this point. Seldom people have 4 set in my guild because no other tier drops except for Vanq!
Yes, and the fact that 75% of the tier drops in raid are Vanq. 
Using a mass gdkp server im part of that tracks drops and accross the server there is more than 10 runs a week. So still a rather small sample size but still better than peoples feel craft. Vanq tokens we seen around a 41% drop rate (just under) so above the expected but not by a unheard of amount given the smaller sample size. Note this means 65% of the time you will see at least 1 vanq token from a boss with that drop rate and 2 slots using those numbers.
It only feels like to many of them as people class stack the other tokens more with most raids only having 3 druids that each want the tokens + 0-1 rogue that wants them + 2 mages that only wants legs. So 3-4 tokens are only “needed”. Which is not 1/3 of the raid even if you assume all 6 wanting its not 1/3 of the raid. This is a player made issue thou don’t class stack if you want loot to be easier to get after a boss kill. Thou you may make the boss kills harder to get by not.
This never gets better if you pick to class stack.
Blizzard should NOT be reducing there drop rate since you pick to class stack. Thou they should confirm the drop rate is 33% as those numbers above is a little of that mark but again small sample size.

fwiw DKs are vanquisher tokens in wrath (though I can’t remember if any other classes where swapped around to others). Adding the “new class” to vanq tokens could have been “the solution” to no one needing them in tbc.
in wrath they raised the drop rate of vanq thou to 40% and lowered other 2 to 30% to make up for them having 4 classes vs 3 on other 2 thou as confirmed by a blue at the time.
The solution is to not class stack your raids if you don’t want gear to be wasted and to not need as much of the wanted gear.
The next solution big solutions was personal loot and the vault/chest. TBC thou shouldent be changed because people class stack that is the cost of class stacking, you shoulden’t get the best of all worlds. If you want to spread loot better and gear faster don’t class stack otherwise live with it.
