"No one knows its the world soul talking"

So uh, what the heck? One would assume Azeroth being a giant world soul should be public knowledge but apparently only Magni knows and hence why everyone is confused by these voices/visions.

This also confused me. This would mean Magni and the player character just never mentioned this to anyone outside the inner circle at the heart chamber?

I feel like the world being alive and speaking to us is something the world leaders should have been made aware of.

So far only Magni could hear her. These whispers are new and I’d imagine Thrall and Anduin haven’t met up with Magni to get a update. That’s more likely to happen in game

Somewhat reasonable but still did no else have the deductive capacity to go “yeah maybe this is the world soul those adventurers with the Heart of Azeroth was talking about”.

Again. That probably happens in other scenes before / after the anduin thrall chat.

Expecting every answer in just a few minutes is a tad silly story telling wise lol

Perhaps they know of the World Soul but haven’t really put 2 & 2 together to figure out that ‘The voice’ is that very world soul talking to them. :person_shrugging:

It all seems weird especially with Thrall’s “that sword was aimed at something”. Like, what??? Did Magni not tell everyone Azerite was bleeding out because the sword hit the world soul?

Sarg tried to stab Azeroth to corrupt her.
“I think he was aiming at something.”

A lot of the time people who have been in a really bad “situation” don’t want to talk about it.

That varies from person to person

Pretty sure Magni described it as more of an empathy, that he could feel/interpret the world souls emotions. So, people other than Magni, hearing an actual voice calling them to Silithus may not certainly be the world soul. Of course, we know it is, as viewers, because we had subtitles to tell us who’s talking.

Just the whole line of “sword was aiming for something” kinda rubs me the wrong way. Did no one bother to inform the various leaders of the Alliance/Horde that Sargeras was aiming for the world soul and that is why we all gave up our Artifact weapons’ power to save her?

There’s the mystery to the crystal in Hallowfell, perhaps that is actually beckoning Anduin just like it’s Arthai cult? :mag::robot:

Meh the trailers just having the character ponder if the sword was going somewhere super specific. Instead of just “Oh he’s going for the soul directly”

Where the sword was going isn’t the focus of the scene. Its what Anduins going through.

That’s the tip of sargeras’s sword right? Are the Arathi worshipping it like it’s a replacement of the light?

Sorry but when I have vision and hear voice my first reaction isnt the earth trying to talk to me. Its more am I crazy is my mental health ok

The problem is that Azeroth is also home to hundreds of deity figures who can also give people visions, and when you’re someone who has interacted with/been noticed by several of them in the past, you’re probably gonna try to avoid jumping the gun and make assumptions.

They’ve said in an interview that the beacon isn’t related to the sword at all, it’s a completely different thing.
