if you ask them…they are the most skilled players in the game and you just need to “get gud” while they press 2 buttons and do 10 million damage from down the road…around the block…15 streets over…through a wall…while running at lightspeed

So true, i was shocked at how easy it is to DPS on a MM, but in all fairness its 4 buttons
It still weirds me out way too much that someone will get pwned in a video game about elves and faeries and them go publicly post an angry hate screed. This is really who people are?

Strong in BGs, decent but not broken in arena. MM is in a good spot rn imo.

agree with the arena part but I’m sorry its beyond broken in BGs rapid fire needs to do significantly less damage than it does pressing 1 button and doing 5-8 mil damage from 60 yards away not including sentinel procs and the DOT that rolls of crits AND not taking into account consumables and buffs is a joke
I wouldn’t care if they were able to do BG specific nerfs. Any sweeping nerfs would kill the spec in arena, though.
this is the key issue of PVP as a whole BG’s should have a completely separate aura for all specs because honestly MM is ruining BG’s every game is stacked with them and they are insanely tanky now on top of having super over tuned dmg and arguably the best tool kit in the game

anywho, it is kind of a joke that Blizz has given free reign to hunters to practically ‘hack’ (shoot through walls) in a video game.

If you are annoyed at seeing multiple FOTM specs in random battlegrounds (and I get that being one of those FOTM specs), then the best thing you can do is queue Blitz. Blitz keeps spec stacking in check as best it can.

Honestly marksman is massively under performing in higher rated 3s… All specs of hunter. Bm is sadly the most playable but with no real burst
While MM has great utility and obvious burst, not all of us are like that. I can tell you about the countless times I have seen MM hunters back pedal, not use traps, even use barrage.
Point being the majority of MM players are bad, and the good ones do have skill. The ability to avoid melee, use traps effectively, cc and slow a healer, etc… is an art at least IMHO.

Perhaps I am not understanding what youre asking for. Masters Call works like BoF except the pet has to be in range and in LoS to use it on them.
Have you shot a gun IRL? Most go through walls just fine, but what they don’t do in real life is go through forty yards of dirt and 5 yard diameter tree stumps, like they do in the game.
really solid point most are pretty terrible, but a good MM hunter is nearly impossible to deal with kind of like a high tier mage they’re just playing a different game to everybody else XD

Having to target them is slow. The macro should be usable as it was before the patch to let you type in who to target and not need to swap your target
