You don’t know history. You’ve never been outside the United States. You live in your own bubble and your full of it.

You’re posting on a game forum about systemic oppression that doesn’t exist in the west. You probably don’t see the irony in all of this because you’re easily manipulated by a group of politicians who use you to poverty pimp for power.
This government was created in 1776 and not in 1492. The United States didn’t create slavery, it inherited it and then abolished it 60 years after. This Government has been around for roughly 230 years plus and in that short period of time we’ve elected a black American the 44th President of the United States who has a very African Muslim name, not once but twice.
We just recently elected a black woman to VP the highest achievment then any other woman has achieved in this country. Not even White Women can top that.
You need to take a long look in the mirror and ask youself “Is it really whitey keeping you down” or is it you.
There is oppertunity out there and its not going to fall on your lap, you have to work and hustle for it.

See some of us are the opposite…I care about Anduin and I wish we could kick current Sylvanas into a volcano and never have to hear from her ever again save in flashbacks from when she was actually an interesting character. Imagine…people having different opinions from your own.

As I said: “changed.” By changing it this way, it at the same time validates skin tones in other such core races and people can feel actually represented by their literal avatars.
See Poised’s post. IDGAF about such a small irrelevant point of lore, and changing it for this reason makes 100% more sense for players than keeping it as it was, if that wasn’t clear. In fact, I’d be fine if they never changed the lore, did what they did with skins, and dared anyone to complain about it.

Yes muffin, I assume most people who use language to that effect are trolls, because honestly I assume a lot about people who make strong statements behind a keyboard because until you actually talk to a person for real, you never actually know if they’re being sincere or doing it to get people angry so they can fill the void of negative attention in their life.
I’m not saying they shouldn’t be pale and should be brown.
I’m saying the race of elves that live in eternal sunlight with Phoenixs everywhere it makes more sense for them to be brown.

Fair enough, but my point is the groundwork was laid before there was even a glimmer of new customizations waiting on the wings. Chronicle Vol 1. was written back in WoD era, six years before they added the new skin tones. No one batted an eye at change there (personally I was more annoyed at the Shadow lore retcons).
Lord knows I rattle on about Blizzard’s terrible lore changes and story directions to an extent that’s unhealthy, but in this case I’m willing to give credit where it’s due. This has never really been a ‘retcon issue’ so much as a ‘Blizzard is lazy as hell when it comes to customizations’ issue. Or, in the case of Ion, outright terrified of it. Man doesn’t even have his main mogged, nor using anything but the most basic of Orc features.

this is beautiful and exactly how I feel about Anduin. he’s our last one true good light and they have bottom cased him so they could have Lich King 2.0 … I’m still mad about this.

Honestly I think the change was so small nobody except people like Nobbel87 even noticed. 
I disagree. The game was designed around a medieval European style land, so having the people look like medieval Europeans made sense at the time. And then they had to go back and explain why everyone looks one way that isn’t based on a game from the mid 90s. Then go back again when they realize people might actually want their avatar to be an AVATAR.
This was my reaction as well.
