No new War Campaign quest? Bugged?

Theres no new quest, i thought the new chapter of the war campaign was suppose to start today.

Likewise, reset was almost half an hour ago.

Could you imagine the insanity on the general discussion forums since the next chapter is going to require raid content if they released it before lfr was opened?

On a completely different note… could someone also explain how the m+ loot would have worked BEFORE reset. I was told you only had to do a +6 to get to the cap. Is this wrong information? - The loot I got out the chest was only 370

you still would of need to of done a 10 for 380 loot this week, the +6 thing is only this week to get 385 gear at the end of dungeon. u still need a 10 for big reward next week tho.

Storywise I’m pretty sure the next war campaign chapter is supposed to be the prelude to the raid starting, so I imagine it comes out today. Maybe they set it to a weird hour, kind of like how holiday events often start at 10:00 a.m. instead of at server reset.

This is a snippet from Watcher’s blog post:

  • Mythic+ rewards will also go up by 30 item levels; however, during the first week of Season 2, rewards from end-of-run chests will be capped at Mythic 6 quality (item level 385), and the chest you open next week will contain Season 1 rewards if you do a Mythic+ run this week. (So, for example, if you do a Mythic 10 during the final week of Season 1, you’ll get a Season 1 item level 380 piece and 60 Residuum from your first Season 2 chest.)

I love that Blizzard has no comments on this either.
They really are just terrible with their business practices.

Like I’ve said in other topics, I wouldn’t expect a comment on this until late afternoon PST when they finally realize things aren’t scaling/triggering as intended. If any comment comes at all.

I have 12 alts (don’t judge!) :slight_smile: and the new quest showed up on 5 of them. All of them have completed all of the old campaign, except for 3 that needed to complete the Darkshore/Tyrande quest line/scenario. I completed the Darkshore portion on 2 of them without the quest showing up, and have another 4 that it should be showing up on and is not. Submitted a bug report.

I wonder if this is why they did not show up on any of my alts. I figured it was because I never completed all the zone on them.

Kiwi, it looks like logging out of the char for a few hours worked for 2 of the 4 that should have had it on reset this morning. The 3 that I completed the Darkshore portion today are still not showing up with the quest available at Halford Wyrmbane.

Not sure what that tells us except there are indeed weird things going on with the quest.
