Anything can be interpreted multiple ways, depending on who’s reading it and what they’re looking for. If I’m die hard for more customization I’ll take that as “omg we’re totally getting more customizations” like so many did, but if I’m in the middle where it’s good either way, I will read it for what it is and reading the words they said as literally as they were said. “When possible” and it’ll be an “ongoing focus”, and neither of those are definitive answers saying that we’re getting anything. And the fact that you will just say I’m trolling because you feel insecure in your answer, kinda proves it enough for me that you realize how distasteful your rage is.
Also just to point out, having more posts does not make you any more smart. And thinking it does, makes you look really stupid! We can clearly see how fast posts rack up, once conversation for me is 20 posts? It would take a few days to get to your amazing 300 posts of useful content. lmfao
they should not have made the “ongoing focus” statements or make it a main feature / reason why no new class / race in shadowlands
we should have gotten even updates across the board. Humans, orcs and undead got tons of options. Gnomes and pandas got next to nothing.
Nightborn got absolutely nothing.
If this what they knew upfront and was all they were going to give us, it should have been a clear statement and not a selling feature for the expac.
Blizzard never said that they were not going to do that.
That was not said or hinted at. As players if we want developers to listen to us then we need to be accurate and stop being so dramatic over perceived issues.
Here me out on this… I feel like I may have discovered the fundamental disconnect between players and Devs.
The Devs look at everything they add (from the tiniest ground clutter in mal draxas to how a raid boss looks) as part of the narrative process. What serves the narrative?
What can we add that expands this universe and lore and the characters?
Thats how they look at it. Their very passionate about this huge story they are telling and interacting with. And thats wonderful.
Unfortunately as much as we appreciate environments, combat, storylines, etc.
ALOT of us are attached to our characters and how we can modify them and make them our own. This is the kind of thing we think about when we arent playing, not blizzards headcanon OUR OWN.
So they see customization as a nice quaint thing to add for players but most of their effort is telling the story in instances, quests etc. and making sure the bills get paid.
Nobody made this argument. It was calling out your intentions. Your only time posting in this forum ever. Is here in this thread. Its been doing nothing but misleading comments and changing facts lol. Try not being an obvious troll next time.
Blizzard really needs to listen this time, this was a super, super scummy thing to do. I’ve been waiting forEVER for customization options. So what if your favorite race already got them, it was ONE OF THE BIGGEST SELLING POINTS for Shadowlands, and now they just, pulled the rug out from under us. We need to make our voices heard.
people expected to see more cosmetics on the .5 patch. Usually the half patches tend to be the ‘this is where we shove the stuff that isnt a new zone’.
On that note them coming in one hairstyle at a time would be fine. It would show that the company is listening and trying to fufill the demand for more cosmetics beyond ‘here’s what you get instead of a new class or race’ like they said they wanted to do at the start
Point to me when any patch blizzard did in the game really fixed problems? They don’t have a good record for fixing the things they say they will to start with. So we’re supposed to what. Assume that the extra slim chance they go add stuff later is going to happen? Please.
Sorry! Saying the word “troll” And putting clown emojis also don’t make you sound any more smart! It makes you look really stupid! And since you can’t differentiate words in the context they’re spoken, you’re not worth the time at all! I get it, you want your draenei tail and didn’t get it, unsubscribe.
That and “Faction pride!”…really? This is retail…not Classic, not all of us are stuck in the Stoneage of the Second war…we’ve all moved on…maybe the developers should too?
